Be a current high school senior at the time of your application.

11/1/19Henry Law Scholarship$1,000To be eligible, each student must be enrolled in, or planning to enroll in, an accredited college or university.
The scholarship is available to all students ages 18 and over, at all levels from high school senior to graduate school. Applicants will write an essay on an assigned topic about leadership.

11/13/19JKC Scholarshipup to $40,000Senior standing – Plan to graduate from a U.S. high school in spring 2020.
Fall College Enrollment – Intend to enroll in an accredited four-year college beginning in fall 2020.
GPA – Earn a cumulative unweighted GPA of 3.5 or above.
Test Scores – Receive a minimum SAT total of 1200 or ACT composite of 26.
Income – Demonstrate unmet financial need. We will consider applicants with family income up to $95,000.

11/15/2019Texas PTA Scholarship$1,000Applicant must be a graduating high school senior from a school in the state of Texas.
❑ Applicant must be enrolled in a high school with a Local PTA/PTSA that has achieved Active Status
by December 1.
❑ Applicant must be a current member* of the PTA at their enrolled campus, as recorded by Texas PTA
by December 1.
*The membership year begins August 1 of each year.
❑ Applicant must plan to be enrolled full-time in an accredited college, university or a technical institute in the
summer or fall semester immediately following high school graduation.
❑ Immediate family members of the Texas PTA Board of Directors or staff are not eligible to apply

11/15/19Maryknoll Scholarshipup to $1,000students in 6-12 grade can enter

11/18/19Beat the Odds Scholarship$5,000 and a mentorship programBe a current high school senior in a public, charter or alternative school in Harris, Fort Bend, Dayton or Liberty counties
Have overcome significant personal adversities such as, but not limited to, poverty, disability, homelessness or abuse
Note: a “significant personal adversity” is one not common to the human experience. For example, an essay on overcoming stage fright is not a fit for this scholarship.
Demonstrate participation in school activities, community organizations, employment, and/or other service and leadership activities showing a commitment to social justice issues
Have a current G.P.A. of 3.0 or higher to demonstrate academic achievement and potential for post-secondary success
Graduate by July 2020
Plan to attend college, university, or vocational school post graduation
