I think you should know, this was the worst possible role you could have given me. Both times I have previously had a role like this I have killed people as soon and as often as I could. I just can't help myself! I'll try to be more patient and self-controlled this time, but I can't make any promises.

I think the burger of the day is the part I'm most excited for. I've got a list already made, I'm just wondering how soon to submit the good ones. IIRC the prize is an extra vote? Guess I don't need that early on, since I don't know who's who. Also I suppose I don't really know what you'd consider "good". Idioms? Music references? Pop culture? Science? I'll find out, I reckon

OutragedPiglet is a little suspect from what I'm seeing. Piglet went straight for the jugular with Pyroelectricdog. Piglet accused pyrodog of being a wolf but the ferocity in which Piglet went for it made me think that maybe Piglet's a wolf in sheep's clothing. Hmmm. Idk. Maybe I'm overthinking. I think the other possibility that people are forgetting is that it is possible that /u/pyroelectricdog forgot which side the wolves were even if he was town. I was town last month and kept forgetting the name of the wolves and the town and almost every phase got excited when I thought that we got a wolf but then realised that it was actually just the town team name.

First impressions: Hedwig is not a wolf, based on the comment chain below. Or if she is, she argued against the killing of Ophelia and was overridden. I'm leaning toward not a wolf though.

Looking through the roster, I am weirded out that we haven't heard more from Marxor, Oomps or Elbowsss yet. In fact the latter hasn't commented at all so far. Very strange, I am thinking.

I see that both OutragedPiglet and Pyroelectricdog are in the hot seat. I don't actually think that either of them are wolves, so I'm watching with interest those are jumping on the lunch bandwagon for either of them. I think it likely that one of the two will be lunched today, so that will be interesting in terms of focusing attention on likely suspects.

So, all I know about BB is that the same guy is Archer. I’m super lost right now and I feel badly because I’ve got a seer role and don’t know how best to utilize it,,. This is the second time in a WW game my password was « beets ». Interesting? Not really. I’ll be back hopefully.

GINGER! I think I spoke too soon. I was trying to be all detective-ey and read between the lines thinking OutragedPiglet was overcompensating. I think I was just thinking of what my boyfriend does when he thinks I'm mad at him tho (like talking extra to try and pull you to that way). BUT now I'm pretty sure it's PyroelectricDog. All of my juicy explanation of why is on the thread but I just wanted to keep you in the loop.

So I'm wondering who my twin brother is and if we managed to save the wolf kill last night. It's my first time having an actual role so this is really exciting for me. I feel so important and I'm mostly lying low right now because I want to survive for the sake of my team. But, its so quiet today. It feels like everyone is lying low, too afraid to make a move.

I'm really digging Marx0r's roleplay as Teddy. Like, I see his comments and can't help but read them in Teddy's voice. Solid work

Piglet is pretty concerned. Piglet has no idea who to pick. Piglet is pretty sure he's about to become pork chops. Piglet hopes no one likes the 'ham' in hamburger. Piglet scared. Piglet things HedwigMalfoy is being meanie at him. Piglet is voting this way. Piglet's logic is that she's a meanie. Also Piglet is reasonably sure that Hedwig was never a Malfoy, but she was a lovely owl. So Piglet's suspicion is high. Piglet makes no sense. Piglet still wonders what 'third person' is.

I don't think any of the inactive players are necessarily wolves. They may be, but there's nothing that tingles my spidey senses. Although I will be looking at Beefsquatch more closely if they survive this vote, given that they have outed themselves as a special role. I would think that the wolves would take the opportunity to get rid of them if they do in fact have special powers. So there would be a reasonably high possibility of them going home.

I am suspicious of elbowsss, as they have been very quiet (which apparently is uncharacteristic). At the moment they are my placeholder vote, unless I have more to go on. Sedeno75 and Osenyu are also somewhat suspicious to me.

Everybody is all over the place though and nobody is stepping up to take ownership of the lunch train, which provides an opening for the wolves. I don't want to take on that role at this stage - it backfired in Survivor. I'm already making too many comments and suggestions which makes me a bigger target.

Piglet is secretly changing his vote to fishy fishy Marx0r. But Piglet will keep a close eye on the Owl that Cannot be a Malfoy.

Now Piglet feels awful about calling out HedwigMalfoy. Piglet will be nicer. If the Owl That Is Not A Dark Wizard is pulling a Big Con, I will be suitably impressed and terrified. But I have nothing but sympathy right now. Piglet feels bad. Piglet will share truffles with HedwigMalfoy tomorrow if we are both here.

So, when I suggested that NCE maybe shouldn't commit to using her kill on a certain day, I was hoping the wolves would see that and possibly use Gayle on her early. Did it work? No clue, they might have been going to do that anyway. Don't care, town gets a free kill regardless. Assuming NCE is telling the truth. Well, last game I assumed she was a lying lizard person so this time I reckon I can give her the benefit of the doubt :P

I’m so sad. I’ve lost my other half. It was either Marx or Diesney. I’m more inclined to believe it was Diesney because Marx should have revealed if he was in the chopping block. He did say he had an action role.... Im feeling the pressure to make better decisions.

I had to go to bed so missed the lunch train on Marx0r. I didn't think he was a wolf, just enjoying his roleplaying, so wouldn't have gotten on that train. Am eyeing TalkPopulartoMe20 for nudging people in that direction.

I'm a little suspicious of Osenyu claiming a town role but conveniently forgetting who it was. That seems odd for me (especially for someone who is a contract lawyer in real life, and thus I would expect to be detail-oriented). So have asked the question. If they come back with a response I'll ease off, which still keeping an eye on them.

Elbowsss is still suspicious, but I'm basing that on the suspicions of the other vets, who have stated that her play this phase is out of character.

Beefsquatch survived this role, despite outing themselves as a town role with an action. That is odd. I'm not sure why Diesney would have been killed by the wolves over a confirmed town role with special powers. What gives? Was Diesney eliminated for playing her action twice on the same person? Was the wolf kill protected? I know that I was protected last round by one of the twins and that there is another protector out there?

Oh, almost forgot. I'm very sus of notCrazyEnough, with their contradictory comments. I'm not sure why, if they are a wolf, they would expose themselves like this though. The only reason I can think of is that they want to protect one or more of the inactives. Which would mean that one of the inactives is Bob. But if discovered that's quite a risky move. So I'm leaning towards them being town, but watching them.

Criminalsquid has rocked up in Phase 3, after making no comments the previous phase. They haven’t mentioned being silenced so it looks like Diesney was silenced last phase (since there were no inactive strikes). That would be an interesting strategy, to silence and then kill the same person in the same phase. What would the reasoning behind that be?

I don’t want to surface this yet as I’m not sure what conclusions to draw, and it will only place a target on my back as someone who notices things. I’m already concerned that there is a target on me already. There are three wolves from Survivor (the first game I played) that I had a not insignificant role in their being voted out. If any of them are wolves this time round I might be a little higher profile than I would hope.

I am slightly nervous that there may have been an attempt on my life, and that I was protected. There are options other than Diesney visiting the same person twice. Jimmy Pesto could have made an impetuous decision, given that Diesney was under suspicion. Or, Sergeant Bosco could have been voted out, and decided to take Diesney with him.

If an attempt was made to block NCE last night, then it is likely that one or more of the three suspects she listed (namely Osenyu, Elbowsss and sed75) are wolves. All are high on my suspicion list (Osenyu less so than the other two though). NCE could be lying about being Calvin, in which case Beefsquatch is probably a wolf. However that would be a very risky move so early on if the real Calvin is out there. So I think it’s unlikely.

I do think that at least one, and possibly more than one, of the following five are wolves: elbowsss, sed75, Osenyu, Beefsquatch, poomps.


Hopefully I survive long enough to put some of these jigsaw puzzle pieces together.

Okay, I need to say some stuff here, but I'm on mobile so it may be a mess. I just got back from a wedding, so I can't make proper comments right now. It's annoying that I don't feel I could tell people about being busy today (or I suppose about this being a busy month in general) because with the suspicion against me already it may escalate if people think I'm playing those things up in order to go under the radar.

Although, that's not to say I'm not trying to stay under the radar. Having an important role makes things so much more difficult. Oomps is kind of right, I think I did post that comment after changing my mind because I wanted to keep my comment count from going too low.

I don't think I'm going to last much longer. I dont have much defence for being quiet or that weird comment and I know I've been investigated. So I might as well go out with a bang! I'm going to start using my actions! I did so well with not shooting anyone yet. And it's kind of a shame I did. Poomps62 was probably the person I would have shot.

Just want to say, I'll be super sad if I get lynched over the Osenyu thing. I've been playing HWW for over a year and so far I've never been lynched as a townie. I've only ever been killed by wolves, or lynched *as* a wolf. This might just be the game that ruins my perfect record XD

At the risk of losing our last half seer, I am going to save myself this round. Firstly, I don't think the wolves will go with the more obvious targets if they potentially think that there are 2 protectors still in the game. I think they're slowly picking off the less active town members first and I have a gut feeling I may be next. And seeing as I am the only doctor, I want to remain in the game as long as possible. At least until I feel that I need to make my reveal.... Let's see how this goes.

Since everyone has a named role and there's no more than one of each, the town's best strategy would be to mass role claim like in the Freddy's game. I really hope they don't figure that out.

I don't know what to think anymore. Where are all these damn wolves? Being the only Pesto twin, I have no idea who to save anymore. I feel like I can't trust anyone. If it were up to me, I would just vote for myself every night. But, I think for now, I'll save poomps since they're our only seer-like person and even with poomps' help we're still scrambling around in the dark. So, for now, I think I'll just rotate between myself and poomps until other developments arise. It seems as if Jimmy Pesto made their first attempted kill last night. Given the huge suspicion levels of Osenyu, why in the world would they target jrg114, who has no evidence either for or against them? Very puzzling. This would be a very good opportunity to test Osenyu once and for all and help us with further leads.

Instead we lose another townie. Has Jimmy Pesto not being paying attention this round or did they just decide to do their own thing?

Ok I’ve been silenced, unsurprisingly. It’s 8 hours since the start of the phase, and nobody has noticed yet. I’m starting to lack confidence in town’s ability to pull this off.

We have a clear lead in Osenyu and yet monstromyfishy and Mrrrrh are ignoring this and trying to put bodompidompi on the table. Given my suspicions of Mrrrrh, given the fact that Osenyu tried to divert accusations away from her, this looks very dodgy.

If I look at monstromyfishy’s posts, she’s been very analytical but hasn’t yet been on the right track. And it’s very suspicious that she’s trying to control the conversation straight away.

In order of suspicion levels, it’s Osenyu, Mrrrrh, Beefsquatch. The monstromyfishy and Diggenwalde (based on a few contradictory comment which I would have outlined but now won’t have the chance).

I’ve been silenced and based on past track record it looks very likely that the wolves are going to try and kill me. My only hope is that silencing is actually noticed by Town, that they put two and two together, and that one of the twins (if still alive) chooses to protect me.

I’m torn with regard to NCE. I think she’s actually been a little unhelpful to town so I am wondering if the Calvin claim is a long shot that paid off. But there was the extra kill if sedeno75, so it seems unlikely.

I am questioning whether the wolves have a secret role that enables them to know the role of everybody that’s been voted out. I’m assuming that is not the case though as I don’t think Town would have a shot, if that were the case.

My interpretation of the extra kill is that it comes from Jimmy Pesto. In which case there is a question mark on TPTM. Or else a double bluff to deceive the wolves.

The other option is that it may be a Sergeant Bosco elimination, which would mean boneapetheteet would have been Sergeant Bosco. I would have thought she would have chosen Osenyu.

In the case of the first option it may be that Jimmy Pesto wants town to know that they are alive. And wasn’t confident on Osenyu but didn’t want town to labour under a false assumption that Jimmy Pesto is dead.

Im not sure about all of this but in my view we need to vote for Osenyu today.

I’m interested to see if Beefsquatch is a wolf or not. If she was, then I will regret not asking her to reveal her role (given that she initially said she was a non-important town role with an action). That would have been a lot harder to bluff.

I was discouraged by NCE, who also discouraged me to push for more Town roles to be revealed. I crunched the numbers and I thought my approach had the best chance of success. I’ll be interested to see whether I was correct or not.

If I am, then I’ll be reluctant to let a veteran try to tell me what to do again. I was burned by the last Survivor game, but I do think that generally my instincts are good, especially as the game progresses. And I think I will back myself more in future games.

If Beefsquatch is not a wolf, then it’s 50/50 but I think I will still start to play my own game in future.

I've managed to read through some of the comments of some key people, including Mrrrrh, Bodompidompi and TalkPopularToMe20.

Upon review, I think it's actually very likely that bodompidompi is a wolf. I had missed the attempt by frolicking elephants to defend his "scum slip" from Mrrrh's suspicions.

So this vote will be interesting. If bodompidompi does turn out to be a wolf, then by implication that would make it highly likely that Mrrrrh, Monstromyfishy and TPTM are not wolves. If bodompidompi is not a wolf, then my suspicions of the above shoot sky high.

Similarly for Osenyu, whether they are a wolf or not, will have a big impact on my suspicion levels of others.

So if the vote goes either for bompidompi or for Osenyu it will have value in terms of future leads. I'm not sure if I will be around though. As the wolves are very likely to try and kill me this evening. And if nobody knows I have been silenced, nobody will try to protect me, or at the very least spy on me.

Nobody has yet noticed, 14 hours into the phase, that I have been silenced.This tells me that we don't have many analytical players left in town, which is quite bad. I would have expected monstromyfishy to notice, and I have suspicions of her (which will turn on whether bodompidompi is a wolf or not)

Mindputtee's suggestion of a mass reveal is an interesting one. At this stage I think it may hurt town, I think it would have been more effective earlier on. But right now we won't be able to count on any of the information.

It does raise my suspicion levels of her, and does make me wonder if she is in fact a wolf. That would mean that capsara was not one. Medium sus.

Ironically, as I'm now spending some time reviewing the last few phases, I am being swayed towards voting for bodompidompi. I did find their comment odd about not getting notifications as the reason they forgot to vote the previous phase, especially since they had commented that the phase ends at 4am in their time zone. I would think that going to bed would be the trigger. Possibility that they in fact did vote but did not do an action. Or that it is a deliberate strategy.

Both whether they are, or not, a wolf, would be very useful info to have.

But I'm going to try and go with the consensus. Am putting a placeholder on Osenyu, unless I see the momentum swinging to bompidompi.

I'm pretty sure that this burger was written by a wolf that thought I was going to die tonight. Not sure if they're aware of my opinions on eggs. If they are, they clearly should have played it up by specifically mentioning mayo, the only thing worse than eggs themselves.

There is the possibility of a long con, with poomps and criminalsquid linking up to support each other, and frolicking elephants agreeing to be a sacrifice. But that would require some luck avoiding detection (either the original seer, or Ron or Tommy Jaronda could counter-claim) so that is unlikely. Occam’s Razor and all. Still it is interesting to think of some off-the-wall strategic approaches. I know I’d be keen to try some innovative strategies if I was a wolf.

I see that both frolicking elephants and moonviews jumped on the capitolsara train relatively early, when the choice was between bodompidompi and capitolsara. This may mean that capitolsara was not a wolf. Or a less important wolf than bodompidompi (assuming that he is one).

I'm going through the comments in previous phases. Willbo77 strikes me as suspicious. In particular his jumping on my analysis suggesting that Osenyu was suspicious, when frolicking elephant was the confirmed vote, reminds me of our first game together, which was Survivor last month and we were both on Bouncha together. He did something similar and was in fact a wolf. Feels a little deja vu to me.

I know that others have picked up on this so I don't want to necessarily bring this up right now. We have a clear target, assuming that we trust poomps (which I mostly do, despite my paranoid suspicions of a long con) and I think we need to not get distracted and keep the vote on moonviews.

Looking at the closeness of the votes between Osenyu and bodompidompi makes me suspicious of coordinated activity by the wolves. If bodompidompi is in fact a wolf I would expect the wolves to vote en masse for Osenyu, given that he was town. And that is where the consensus was. Which leads me to believe that the wolves deliberately went against consensus. Why would they do this? This would only make sense of bodompidompi is in fact not a wolf, and that they hoped to steal the vote, eliminate bodompidompi and once again Osenyu survives. Town will then assume that wolves piled votes on bodompidompi to save Osenyu and Osenyu is the target next phase.

So that's the theory I'm working with, which makes me nervous of voting for bodompidompi. I'd much rather go after someone like Willbo77. I'm not going to raise that now as it will just cause confusion. Rather next phase, assuming I'm still alive.

If capsara was not a wolf, then I think that mindputtee could very well be one. I'm less certain about capsara being a wolf and so am reconsidering mindputtee.

BTW, the flavor text is amazing! Mickey was the perfect choice to lead the game, and all the interactions seem super in-character. Great work!

I have a suspicion that a number of wolves may have voted for bodompidompi a couple of phases back. Especially since by a process of elimination moonviews voted for bodompidompi. I am already very suspicious of WillBo77 and have noticed that he voted for bodompidompi with no explanation, despite having wanting to vote for Osenyu over frolicking elephants (who had been confirmed by a seer) the previous round.

I don't believe poomps is a wolf (especially after correctly identifying moonviews) so my attention will be on KingofCool328, littlebs8, Penultima and kemistreedog

Wow.... that was a close vote. I’m glad to have survived that one, but it doesn’t look good for me to survive another night. But maybe since Willbo was a wolf, I may have gotten another night.

I love all of these burger pun names and descriptions. They are all super creative and I would have never been able to think of anything even remotely as clever.

I'm frustrated right now. It feels like I'm the newb playing with a whole bunch of veterans and they keep commenting on each other's play style and quietness and I'm just kind of lost. And I'm worried that diggenwalde is town which will put a target on my back tomorrow. And I want to reveal that I'm the only protector twin left, but I don't want to be a lynch target, but I also don't know when the wolves will come after me. Where is poomps today??? I used my action on her yesterday so she should be protected against a silencer. I’m hoping she just has a busy day because this isn’t adding up anymore. Uggghhh.

So this complication certainly makes things difficult. I realized shortly after rightypants messaged me of the damage I have done to poomps. The wolves know she is open for a kill tonight. I’m trying to pull a bluff and maybe the wolves won’t target myself or poomps by stating that I’m saving poomps. I read the rules but I’m hoping the wolves haven’t. I know that saving poomps again will likely result in an ineffective action and my death which really doesn’t help anything at all. So let’s try a bluff. I don’t know. Also I’m pissed that TPTM carried the lynch vote over to mindputtee. I think it’s pretty clear mindputtee is town and we should be focused on players like papa. Aaarrrggghhh this game is frustrating. I'm really bothered by TalkPopularToMe. Why mindputtee? There is literally a margin of 1 person right now and I'm upset we lost a townie unnecessarily. Also, I have no idea who to freaking save tonight. Will the wolves go for me? Should I save myself? Should I save poomps? I feel like they're not going to go after me because I've case suspicion against TPTM. If she is not a wolf, then they want to keep me to keep throwing shade in her direction. If she is a wolf, she becomes an obvious target next phase. I can't save NCE again. I don't want to save beef because if she's Sgt. Bosco then she can help us by taking another wolf down with her. If TPTM is Angela then I don't have to worry about her being killed by the wolves. That leaves kemistreedog or poomps. Ok. I think I got it. I just needed to talk out loud about it.

This game is lasting forever. Are all HWW games this long? Are they all so close? u/rightypants - you have made a well balanced game indeed! On a different note, I wonder if the wolves caught on to my bluff last phase about sacrificing myself for poomps and changed their vote to KingofCool. Or if that was always their plan to begin with? Are they just giving up? I see now why TPTM is so paranoid.
