The number of Palestinians killed between Jan. 19, 2025 and Mar. 17, 2025 represents the total of confirmed deaths of those killed during this period. It excludes those killed in earlier periods whose bodies were newly recovered, identified, or returned after being held captive by Israel after their death (for example, their death in Israeli captivity), or declared dead by a judicial committee. The numbers were derived by using the killed_truce_new column in the Gaza dataset and adding the number of those killed in the West Bank, Jan. 19, 2025-Mar. 14, 2025, according to OCHA. This was the latest date that casualties were available for the West Bank at the time of publishing.
