The City Horse model was developed as a graduate student at UCLA school of Urban Planning. Our model partners students with stables in closest proximity to their school. With the goal of creating lasting relationships between the school and stable. City Horse is a small nonprofit program that takes urban students out of their traditional classroom and onto a working ranch/stable to learn about horses. Students that participate in the program learn how to groom, ride and care for their horse. All of our students receive academic credit for their participation. City Horse offers two programs; day trips to the stables and a semester program from six to eighteen weeks.	Any students interested in a career in animal science, animal biology or just want to get their hands dirty and car for animals, please see me.
