Best Practices for Social Media
30
31
32
1. Include images that best reflect your community and region. Be sure that all individuals featured have completed a release form in English or Spanish.
33
2. Use hashtags, including ones just for your community, and use them consistently.
34
3. Tag other users' accounts when applicable, such as when using a quote tile.
35
4. Keep graphic text simple. Include more information if needed in the post.
36
5. Update post content. Suggested text is provided, but update to reflect your
37
community and audience's specific wants and needs.
38
6. Provide a call to action in your post, such as a link to visit, number to call, etc.
39
7. Keep graphic colors to a minimum. We suggest no more than three on one graphic.
