2- Provide sufficient number of S wooden frames or other appropriate cable support systems to ensure that the cables pass safely over metallic structures.
3- Exposed cables need to be immediately insulated or placed in protective sheathing to ensure there is no contact with live parts.
4- All unprotected cable ends need to be capped or insulated.
5- Use of cable guards or covers to ensure that cables do not create trip hazards.
6- Conduct workshop/refresher training to workers regarding the risks of trailing cables and proper cable management techniques.
