This spreadsheet is a sample for your district or school to use to organize your students and their language proficiency assessment scores. These scores are used for Competency-based Credits and the WA State Seal of Biliteracy.

How to Use this Document

Districts can use this spreadsheet in multiple ways, including as a record of student achievement, a reminder for Seal of Biliteracy proficiency/reporting, or even a way to track credits earned over time. All columns are suggestions and can be changed to meet the needs of your specific district.

Depending on which assessments/languages, students will receive different score sheets. If any score is not applicable, just leave that box blank or fill in N/A. Tribal languages will just have a letter from the Tribe or Band saying how many credits students earned.

A sheet of copyable "fillables" has been provided which can be used for the spreadsheet. This is current for SY23-24. Below are listed the full names for assessmentsor providers where only abbreviations are listed on the sheet.

Language codes are used for reporting student at-home language and for the Seal of Biliteracy to CEDARS. You can also find the same codes in Appendix K in the CEDARS appendices.
