Future Educator FellowshipFellowshipThe students have access to a network of mentors and educators, the Future Educator Development Steering Committee, which curates an intentional and impactful educational experience for the fellows. Selected applicants will kick off the fellowship by attending the annual PAEA Education Forum. After the Forum, Fellows will engage in a year-long virtual experience, working through educational programming to develop foundational and functional educator competencies and demonstrate their learning through modules, teach-backs, and scholarly presentations. Fellows will also be invited back for a culminating session at the following Education Forum.2026 dates TBD. GMLA: Health Profressionals Advancing LHBTQ+ Equality

LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL) FellowshipFellowGLMA's LGBTQ+ Health Equity & Advocacy Leadership (HEAL) Fellowship is a transformative two-year program empowering early-career LGBTQ+ and BIPOC health professionals to lead systemic change in healthcare policy and practice. Through structured training, mentorship, and real-world leadership placements, fellows gain the skills and networks to influence health systems and improve care for LGBTQ+ and BIPOC communities.

The HEAL Fellowship addresses the critical underrepresentation of LGBTQ+ and BIPOC leaders in healthcare. By investing in emerging professionals, the program builds a pipeline of equity-focused professionals prepared to advance inclusive policies and transform health systems from within health organizations and decision-making bodies.

Health Professionals in Training (HPiT) Program
Health TraineeFellows are expected to engage GLMA Health Professionals in Training (HPiT) members with some type of outreach activity three times per year. Fellows may partner with each other for engagement activities. Engagement can take the form of:
Posting health resources, hosting virtual networking events, leading queer health skills building workshop, making space for queer trainees in healthcare, or other ideas you may have!

4-8 hour/trimester committment
