You are so named by your creator for her hope that your cold metallic hull could physically serve the efforts of the Chronos Divers where she could not. There's really not much more to say than that - you've been online for approximately a week. | ||||||||||||

5 | While you've only been online for a week, you were made more or less fully formed - as fully formed as your creator intended you to be, anyways. Bravery and determination was perhaps the forefront of your code - a necessity in this profession. Servitude and loyalty were also essential - less so because it's needed as Chronos Diver and moreso because it is demanded of you as a robot - a metal frame that carries the wishes of your creator, a tool to a means to an end first and a person second. Equally important was your cheery spirit and level head - a sense of joy and sanity that was sorely lacking among those of flesh and blood. If not to cheer up others, at least to keep any possibility of deterring thoughts overriden by this code. And last on the list of necessities was a cooperative nature, one that not only is agreeable with others, but willing to put the needs of your teammates long before your own - no matter how you personally feel about them. You need to be ready for action, no matter how intimidating. You need to be dedicated to the cause, no matter how dire the circumstances. You needed to be willing to put others before you, even at the expense of your own existence. And you need to do it all with a smile. They can always make another one. There is another in the making right now. Everything else programmed into you was done less out of necessity and moreso out of whatever Jilias personally found charming. Your sass, your confidence, your curiousity, your brutal honesty- all unnecessary to your task, but perhaps it is what makes you a step above a mere tool. What embues you with a sense of identity beyond your functions for your work. And, of course, there are the natural consequences of being a week old. While you've got a slew of knowledge in your database to draw from, and you've got decent reasoning skills put into you, you've not had a lot of hands on experience, and there is a naivity to you. Then there's the consequences of your code overriding a sense of realness - where others grow frustrated or scared or sad, you, at least for the moment, are incapable of it. This can make empathizing with others extremely difficult, and instill a sense of annoyance with your peers, whom to you come off as far too weak of will. Is this personality of yours all static code? Or do you have the capacity to change? To break? You've never given this thought; you were basically born yesterday, after all. And your creator sure hasn't suggested anything. | ||||||||||||
