LIFE PRO TIPS

Yes, phone thefts do happen BUT so does losing your phone. Change your lock screen to an image with the following information: Full Name, email, emergency contact, friends phone #, etc etc. I cannot tell you how many phones I find every year!PSA: This list has been curating and evolving for almost a decade by a group of young adults who have camped at and attended 5+ festivals every year (Coachella and Burning Man being two of them). Please understand that this is merely a guideline to a standard packing list that my festival group and I typically follow. Everyone has their own personal recommendations, so do some individual research if need be. Also be sure to reserach Coachella's festival camping guidelines directly on their website. You may find more information that isnt provided here. Feel free to copy and share this with whoever - or even duplicate it and customize it to be your own :) The second tab is an itemized version of the list you see to the left just for simplicity/shopping purposes.

(P.s. If you have any questions that can't be answered here, just DM me and I'll be happy to help!)

See ya in the Des!
3
Fans are your friend. Grab a handheld one or a mini battery operated one. The lil' mist ones that spray water are even better!
4
Make sure to open all your goods/equipment (wrappers, bags, etc) BEFORE you come to the campground so you can reduce the amount of trash that piles up in the festival grounds. Play ya part in sustainability!
5
Coachella has some AMAZING art installments and experiences as well as some banger food. Don't just focus on the music - go run around and experience all the other cool stuff coachella has to offer (BONUS: A lot of these installements get really crowde/busy on the last day since everyone wants to see them. Go in the beginning if you want to avoid hour+ waits)
6
The wind and dust are no joke are this festival. Combat it the best way possible. There are tips and tricks mentioned below, but do some research of your own to get your life pro tips from multiple sources <3
7
HEED THE COACHELLA COLD - Do not let the dust sit in your nose for a long amount of time. The Coachella cold is real. You WILL get sick.
8
Coachella is about having fun and listening to good music. Drug usage/alcohol usage is to be expected - but please be weary of the heat here. You can overheat and dehydrate very very easily. Start your morning by chugging at least two water bottles. I personally will beer-bong these just to get it down quicker (plus it makes it more fun hahhaha)
9
With the above being said, look out for yourself and your friends. If you see something, say something. If someone looks like they're not doing good, check on them. Go have as much fun as possible but also Be Responsible
10
Last but not least - this is a marathon, NOT a sprint! Take your time, endulge yourself in the current moment, don't rush and have fun
11
Camp Necessities
12
TENT - Taller tents are harder to stay held down with the wind, so make sure they are properly secured! Also ensure to CLOSE YOUR WINDOWS when away from camp. Theres nothing worse than coming back to a dusty bed at the end of the night
13
Warm Cozy Sleeping arrangements (pillows/blankets/etc) - the nights can get cold!
14
Sleeping Mat / Air Mattress / some sort of cushioning to sleep on
15
Tarp/Old carpet for camp floor
16
ZIP TIES - just bring them. You'll end up needing them for something
17
LED Lantern - battery operated prefered
18
SHADE STRUCTURE - EZ up or some sort of canopy. The days are HOT and shade is essential. It doesn't typically begin to cool down until 5-6pm ish. Try to avoid the ones with slanted legs as they invade your neighbor's space and give you less shade
19
PLASTIC STAKES. Typically, metal onse are not allowed into the campgrounds. I don't foresee staff camping being any different
20
Rubber Mallet
21
Table
22
Camp chairs/lawn chairs/ etc. Inflatable chairs are not always recommended as the wind could literally blow them away

62
Toiletries - Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, face wash, toothrbush, toothpaste, shaving stuff.
63

64
Slippers/sandals for quick errand runs
65
TOWELS!!!!!
66
Camelback / backpack / hydration pack - please review Coachella's bag guidelines as well
