City of Winter Haven (Updated 3/24)Yes.  All programs, athletic leagues, sporting events, facility rentals, and special events are cancelled through May 9, 2020.  No applications for Special Events are being accepted until further notice.Closed Facilites Include:  All indoor recreation centers; All athletic facilites; All aquatic facilites; Library.  Our parks that cannot be secured (non-fenced/gated), boat ramps, and trail system remain open, but related restrooms have been closed.  Our Golf Course remains open with protocols in place.All travel associated with City-business is cancelled until further notice.Increased cleaning / sanitizing of high contact spaces. Seminole County Leisure ServicesMost sports tournaments and activities have cancelled. We'll be between seasons in softball and tennis so sports programs are being adjusted as the circumstances require. All Library programs have been cancelled through March 31 to reduce in-faciliy traffic. Libraries also going to social distancing with the placement/activation of public computers. Also suspending the accrual of library fees until after March 31. No travel restrictions - the County however has implemented a new emergency policy regarding reporting of travel destination for employee PTO.Increased cleaning/sanitizing of high traffic indoor public spaces.No change yet in camps - will continue to monitor the situation. Planning for employee dependent childcare in a County facility should the need arise.Not at this time.

City of OldsmarAll programs, events, rentals, and co-sponsored recreational leagues have been either cancelled or postponed through April 30th. All recreation centers, playgrounds, park bathroms, pickleball, sand volleyball and basketball courts have been closed, however access to the parks themselves is still available. Signs have been placed around the parks referencing our Mayor's Executive Order regarding CDC guidelines on social distancing and group size. As per county directive we have also placed "Beach Closed" signs at our beach park (the rest of the park remains open). No business travel outside of the county.Recreation staff sanitize park benches and picnic tables daily. Our custodial contract has added mid-day sanitation of city facilities that are still open. Facility maintenance staff also follows up with a daily sanitation of common surfaces such as door knobs and counter tops.N/ARecreation staff sanitize park benches and picnic tables daily. Additionally, lunch breaks have been stagerred and assigned to take place in different areas. As a trial, part-time recreation staff is working from home by taking assigned online training modules which are tracked by time and provide a certificate upon completion. Full-time recreation staff assists with the "school out" free lunch distribution in the morning, or sanitize park benches and tables. After the distribution and sanitation, staff work from home taking assigned online training modules.
