A patron said that the scanner website is having system issues. They tried scanning at multiple stations and every time she would try to email her scan to herself the progress bar would get to 20% and freeze for several minutes.

I've had a few patrons this hour come up with identical booking emails for the same room and time, in particular C7 from 11-12. I rebooked those I could to unclaimed rooms, but just wondering if there's some issue with LibCal that's allowing multiple people to book the same slots.

return before changing the due date to a month later, and was not sure how to best resolve this issue.

This was the right thing to do, now that it has been put on claim return and the due date has been extended by a month that
gives time for both the patron to double check their belongings and us time to search stacks to find it. No more needs to be done.

push for info desk to get properly staffed if possible... it feels like every other shift now there is a circulation student who needs to fill in for info desk.Circ StaffMarito is currently hiring and subsequently training the new hires to staff critical hours for the Information Desks. Unfortunately, we won't see some relief until mid-April after students are processed by campus/ central HR, and trained adequately to staff the desk independently. I'll continue to hire and train as the Information Desk supervisor's, and my schedule allows for the remainder of the semester.

I'm not entirely certain of the root cause but there are two solutions.

The easier solution is to print the desired file from the desktop computer (it will automaticallly reformat the file).

The second options is to: (1) open desired file, (2) from the opened file, "save as" a seperate file (the second copy should be reformatted to an accepted size). Why this works, i don't know but it has worked in practice. (MS)

was charged over $300 in late fees. We were wondering on how to go about this now.
I.GThanks for letting me know, we dealt with it and removed the fine. SLEs, when working the devices desk PLEASE
be aware when checking them in. This is extremeley expensive equipment and we have long check
in/ check out processes to ensure this doesn't happen. Please, be careful when checking in
electronic items. It is unfair to the patron to have to deal with this.

Pull door towards you to make sure the door is fully locked first
Place key in and turn to the right (you may not hear a cluck)
Now push the door forward and it will unlock

1/12/2023 13:28:36DoePatron tried printing in color (original doc AND printer were both color) but the document came out black and white. Referred them to MCC but
they didn't know how to solve either.
EGSo turns out the way to fix that is that after uploading the document to mobileprint.berkeley.edu they should select the single document they would like to print and at the bottom of the page there should be an option for color or b/w. Choose the color option and it should then print in color. The little logo next to the document should change to reflect this as well. -MS
