Watch replays to determine the appropriate archetype and tags for each player's deck who is below top 32 (top 32 gets posted by WOTC). You can leave deck blank as it is not currently used for anything.
20
***When exiting a replay, use the reverse arrow in the bottom left. Closing the window can lock you out of viewing more replays.
21
Your archetype and tags don't need to be from the list on this sheet--they are merely what we used in one tournament. Feel free to leave them as they are though.
22
Tags should be comma separated (e.g. "Taxing, Shops, Ravager")
23
If after watching a few replays you are still unsure about some tags (e.g. you cannot tell if an eldrazi deck plays null rod), note that in the D column.
24
Decks names are optional
25
After watching enough replays, I'll look at what people played and adjust the list of archetypes and tags if necessary.
26
***Adjust archetype and tags on this sheet. Everywhere else will auto update using formulas.
27
Try to keep the number of archetypes to exactly 11. Archetypes and tags with 0 decks in them are fine.
28
If you increase the total number of tags let us know because we need to quickly update a couple formulas.
29
Increasing the total number of archetypes is more annoying to rework.
30
31
Check for Errors:
32
Look through the round sheets. Check if an opponent's archetype/tags are filled out. Probable fix: if missing, opponent's name was probably mistyped.
33
When going through the round sheets, double check the wins and losses in K2-L2 to ensure # of wins is equal to # of losses. Also check the PARITY CHECK column.
34
Under "Player and Wins" the S column should be "TRUE" for each player. Probable fix: if "FALSE", one of that player's opponents' archetypes is not on the list of archetypes on this sheet.
35
Under "Archetype and Subarchetype Breakdown", X11 (total wins) should equal Y11 (total losses)
36
Also on this sheet, check that the win% matrix makes sense. For example, H14 plus B20 should sum to 100%, since (shops vs. mentor win%)+(mentor vs. shops win%) = 100%
37
Finding where errors on the "Archetype and Subarchetype Breakdown" come from is usually more difficult. If you can't find the source let one of us know it exists and we can help.
38
39
Notes:
40
Other than the copying in the initial step, avoid copy/pasting and dragging values. This often messes up the formulas and leads to difficult to find errors. Instead, enter everything manually.
41
Look at "Players and Wins" and "Round 1" for examples
42
We're currently not using subarchetypes.
43
Decklists for the top32 players will be eventually posted by WOTC.
44
Therefore, if you're short on time the essential information is the round by round results and the information for players' decks not finishing in the top 32.
45
You need to enter the P9 to see the replays, but anyone can view the round by round results. If you aren't playing but are willing to help, entering in the round results would be very helpful.
