Welcome to the master instruction and parts list for the PANOPTES robotic telescope build!

How to use this document
7
1) The steps are listed in an order that works. Done
8
2) The values in the "After Step" column indicate the steps that should be done before the step on that row. If you re-order steps, make sure that you don't place a step before its predecessors or you might find yourself stuck.Underway
9
3) If you plan to build multiple modules then its worth consolidating the parts lists for those modules into one to minimize splitting orders to a given vendor and hence reduce shipping costs.Haven't started

UPS-Uninterruptible Power Supply2018.03DocumentUPS Parts ListLuc raised tbe idea of moving the meanwell. Id say leave it for now. James - you made a comment inside about adding heavier gauge wires. To connect what to what? Please resolve these comments in the document, add the parts to the list needed and make sure to add the step to use these new wires if you want them.

(WTG: 2019-06) I'm creating a new document, which is in the same folder. When it is ready to go I will replace the link.

Do standard format and _readable. Wilfred - help Aru upload th code to github. Wilfre/Aru - read the instruction set and edit, and please add download path to code on gitub and final name of code. Please add a step on what people need to do to switch between Uno and Micro in the downloaded code.

Indoor System Assembly Parts List - 2018.10
Wilfred/James/Aru/Nem - there are 5 points at the end of the document that we need to make sure are covered in one of the instruction set. If any point is familiar to you, grab it, and find and instruction set and add it pleaseNem/James/Luc - we need to tell people to buy heavier gauge wire for the main power. #20 can carry 5A which is enough for the main power to the interface board, #18 can carry 7A which is more safe, and #16 can carry 10A which is super safe. Nem - check sections Ive highlighted

DEPLOYSYSTDeploying a unit2017.01DocumentJames - there is one comment in here for you to check outJames/Aru - in SYSAS there is a call for a few of the points to be moved somewhere. At least 1 or 2 could come here. Please integrate and remove from the SYSAS document as you do. James - we should include site planning here somewhere, where do we mention how to set the latitude on the mount ? Aru, did this in the POLAR instruction set. But we could probably copy that text in here if its not already thereJames - make the new parts list and add the linkJames/Nem - write how to install the scope at a site. See points in the document laid out by Nem
