We are very excited to rollout this program and provide young adults a chance to get involved in the extraordinary political processes of our country. Launched in 2009, DOVE has partnered with metro Atlanta community organizations, middle and high schools,to develop activities that self awareness while promoting social, edcational, leadership and cultural experiences for young ladies. The goal of DOVE is to aide young girls in developing the inner strength, character, and skills it takes to be true leaders and positive contributors to society.

The Women's Leadership Conference will be held on Saturday, April 1, 2017 the Historic Academy of Medicine.

Spring Academy DayDobbins Air Reserve Base located at 1408 Dobbins Place Dobbins ARB, Marietta, Ga 30069The Spring Academy Day will be held on Saturday, April 29th from 10:00-11:30am at Dobbins Air Reserve Base.Must be interested in the Service academies. There are five service academies: The United States Air Force (USAFA), Naval (USNA), Military (USMA), Merchant Marine (USMMA), and Coast Guard (USCGA) Academies. Nominations are required for all but the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, to which appointments are made on the basis of an annual nationwide competition.Must register at https://www.isakson.senate.gov/There are five service academies: The United States Air Force (USAFA), Naval (USNA), Military (USMA), Merchant Marine (USMMA), and Coast Guard (USCGA) Academies. Nominations are required for all but the U.S. Coast Guard Academy, to which appointments are made on the basis of an annual nationwide competition. The purpose of the Annual Statewide Academy event is to familiarize students with the application and nomination process and to expose them to academy life.The spring Academy Day will be held on Saturday, April 29, 2017, from 10:00-11:30 AM at Dobbins Air Reserve Base located at 1408 Dobbins Place, Dobbins ARB, Marietta, GA 30069. Guests should arrive as early as 9:00 AM to clear security and to visit information tables. Representatives from all five academies as well as cadets and midshipmen will be in attendance and ready to answer questions. The event is targeted to students grades 8-12 and their parents. All attendees must make a reservation due to security restrictions and present photo identification to the Cobb Parkway checkpoint for admittance onto the base. All persons who are interested in attending must make a reservation by registering online at https://www.isakson.senate.gov/ by the registration deadline of 5:00 PM, Monday, April 17, 2017. No exceptions will be made. Students who wish to attend should visit the academy page on my web site and follow the prompts to register. Each person, including parents, who will attend Academy Day must register due to the requirements for entry onto the military base.
