flubbernuggetbella siccome un angelo https://drive.google.com/file/d/1H90BBN4ovn7qiK_utgJwOySGhU1VazH0/view?usp=sharingCan I say it was such a delight to hear you sing in a wildly different style? I'm so used to your gritty rock vocals, and here you come out nailing an opera song. Although there were a couple of points that I could hear Rock Flub slipping back into your voice with how you attacked notes, I kind of liked the effect it created. I am far from an expert in bel canto, so my critique this time will probably not be the most informed, but considering you're not a classical singer, this was awesome. I loved your power and vibrato here, and my jaw dropped on some of those sustained notes. To nitpick, I would say a few of the high notes were a bit strained, but this is an extremely challenging song so that's to be expected. Great job, and I loved hearing you branch out as a singer!Oh okay hello flub! You just woke up in a big way this season. For the last few weeks I was wondering where this incredible voice was hiding because I felt like you were playing it safe, no longer though! This was by far my favorite thing you've done this season. You've got that powerhouse voice and you are always so entertaining and know how to use it in a way that makes me chuckle. I'm thoroughly impressed with this entry and I think you've really outdone yourself. I hope you continue to bring this level of vocals and performance going forward because this is the the flub I've been waiting for. You're doing great keep this up!Dayum. I was not expecting an entry like this from you! But it's very nice. You've got an operatic thing going on with your voice here, it sounds great the way you take that power you have and pump it into these lower notes. Vibrato is working very well here too. That climb! At 1:45! Wow! That might be my single favorite moment from this round. Yeah, this song kind of wanders around and you do a very good job catching the energy and demands of each piece. This was awesome.9.6

Haschel CedricsonJunge, by Die Ärtze https://drive.google.com/file/d/1EcgAie-2jM0cEs6eBsi1oRQDlTILnNWd/view?usp=sharingThis was one of those entries where your natural artistry shines through. I absolutely love the effect of the harmonies in the background--they're subtle and add a lot of depth, but don't overpower the main vocals. It felt like this song wasn't really *about* the vocals, so it's hard to give technical critique, but although a couple of the high notes sounded like a bit of a reach, mostly your voice complimented the song really well. All in all, this was beautiful, and I loved this!I'm not sure exactly what I was expecting this week, however I really do think you tried to capture the spirit of the song. While I haven't heard the original, I think this felt a bit safe to me. However you clearly have a passion for singing and you know what you do very well. I think next week I'd love to see you continue to push yourself to do fun and unique things. This is a step in that direction, but it felt like this song required more powerful vocals and while you had nice light and airy vocals that were just lovely, it felt like a bit of a mismatch. However, you nailed the lyrics and your tone was lovely. Just make sure to think about song choice in future rounds. This was still good, but I know you are capable of doing incredible!Much like flub, this is not an entry I would've expected from you! Actually I feel like you adopted each others' styles for this round lol. This is a fun one, and you are pitch perfect. However I do think there is a bit of a mismatch going on here, I feel like this song, especially during the chorus, asks for some more energy. It's got that busy modern rock power to it. I think you nailed the verses and the bridge, but it just would've benefitted from kicking it up another notch during the choruses, that's all. But it was fun hearing you in such a different type of song.8.7

lilith2013曲婉婷 - 我的歌声里 (WanTing - You Exist In My Song) https://soundcloud.com/user-989649182-237388472/wanting-you-exist-in-my-songAww, this was just lovely to listen to. This song was perfect for your voice--your tone complimented it so well, and it sounds so sweet and delicate. As always, you excelled on the more challenging technical parts like the high notes and runs (especially the one around 2:42). My feedback this time is short because I feel like I don't have very much constructive criticism, other than you do what you do really well and keep doing it. :)Lilith this was just quite lovely! I was very impressed with your vocals on this one and thought you really embraced the sort of emotional vulnerability this song required. Really you have just blossomed into quite an artist the last few rounds and this is a much stronger season for you than the prior. You continue to make smart choices like this and you could easily see yourself as a finalist this season. Keep it up!There are things I really like about this, but overall I felt like it had less of that energy/emotion/passion from some of your other entries in this season. Which I am honestly wondering if is a product of this round...anyway. You continue to do well on the pitch, and shine hitting those high notes. But the most impressive thing about this entry, to me, is how you hit those flourishes (1:56, 2:43, 3:21). I swear this is one of the hardest things to pull off well in singing, but they sound great here. So this might not have been one of my favorite entries from you but you should still be proud of it.9

ManateeGalDeparture! https://drive.google.com/file/d/1X9t9OhedSCoiGyMz_HeKKBrayyXOZonw/view?usp=drivesdk This was bubbly and energetic and a lot of fun to listen. I can imagine this song was extremely difficult to sing, since not only is it in a foreign language, but it's also super fast, but mostly, you nail it. In a couple of the faster parts, the pitch gets away from you a bit, but mostly this falls comfortably within your range. All in all, you did great, although it's so short I found myself wanting more after.Hey! A song I recognize. This was just a lot of fun and it was nice to see you have a bit of a playful side with this entry. You had a nice clear tone throughout this song which really added charisma to the positive beat that was present and I loved how much passion you clearly have for this song. It came through bright and brilliant in this. A little on the short side, so keep that in mind in future rounds. Not a huge issue, just doesn't leave much room to judge. But since you are through to the next round, that's just something to keep in mind in the future. Nice work! This is a fun, energetic piece and you’re doing a good job selling that, especially following the changes in vocal pace from fast to slow and fast again. It is short, and I don’t have any real complaints about it other than to say that I feel like this piece would have benefitted from some more volume/energy during the chorus.8.066

SkeldaAline by Christophe https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Nvs5B7Ywyfb2rGv_AoFiZC-W8j59NUdO/view?usp=drivesdkYour voice is stunning, wow. My jaw dropped at the first "sable" because your tone was just so gorgeous and rich. I'm glad it seems like you've got a better recording set-up that can do it justice. Musically, you were pretty much dead on the whole the time. My only nitpick is that there was a bit of nasality (especially in the higher parts), but your tone is still lovely despite it. Your theatricality works great for this song, because l love how you built and built until it exploded in the end. Outstanding work!So this was probably my favorite thing you've done this whole competition. You had incredible tone and pitch throughout this song and really just went for it. I think you have quite a bright future in this competition and I'm going to guess you are going to be around for awhile, potentially going all the way if you keep making smart song choices like this. Wow just blown away with this performance and you might have a future in non-english song contests! Bravo! This is a PERFECT song for your vibrato, and you are putting it to work. Yeah, your voice just seems to fit this song very naturally overall. It sounds great, I am enjoying it a lot. If I can offer any small critique it's that you start to sound the tiniest bit nasally during the highest note of the chorus, and I wish I had better advice to offer on how to fix that but I don't. It doesn't really make me like the entry any less, it's a small thing. I am cracking up at how you deliver the "Aline" (in a good way), it's just such a dramatic and unexpected drop. This made me smile.9.633

T-BoneThe Song of Seikilos from the Seikilos Epitaph https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=x7AyfCUhRS0First of all, I really respect you choosing the oldest song in the world. This was very pretty and haunting, and I think this might have been my favourite song of yours so far, actually. Your pitch has improved a lot, and aside from a couple of the really low notes, this sounded comfortable within your range. You have a really pleasant vocal tone, and it just made this simple melody nice to listen to. To be honest, I think this song would have been better without the layered voices. Although a couple of people in this competition make it sound easy, there's a lot of musical theory behind harmonies and which notes sound good when sung together, and sometimes I feel like you're singing notes that clash (or just singing the same track twice). There's also a point where the timing seems to be off and two verses overlap, and I'm not sure if it's an error with stitching different recordings together. But in terms of the vocals and artistry, I think it was a solid performance.I think this was probably the hardest week we are going to have in the whole competition. I did like that this was quite different than anything we've heard from you yet. What I respect more than anything else is people taking a risk and I think you did just that. I don't think this is the best we've heard from you, however you did embrace the spirit of the round and attempted to do some layering, so I'm going to give you props for putting yourself out there and trying something new! See you next round. There's something kind of hypnotic about this song and the way you sing it. I think it's way you're always climbing up and then back down and then up again. Anyway, this sounds lovely (especially when you go up higher toward the beginning, and during the ending part when it picks up) except for a couple moments. The harmony starting around 1:45 wasn't quite right, and all I can say about that is that harmonies are frickin hard and if you want to work on it probably the best way is to record yourself singing the melody and then just sing the harmony over it again and again until you figure out where it sounds good. Often it's just a matter of needing to go up a little higher or come down a little lower than you thought when singing it on its own. This song sounds like it demands a lot of breath, especially later on when it goes on some longer runs without a break and I can hear you starting to run out toward the end, which just means you could work on conserving your breath during those parts. I do want to highlight the very end because you really nailed that higher note, it sounds excellent.8.066
