2					Tests are open:	On this day you should be doing the following:

4	June	7				Read the syllabus. Fill out survey (found in the welcome message in Blackboard) and introduce yourself in the discussion board - Look all things over in Blackboard
5						Start reading the material in unit 1 (found in study in the study guide) and try to read one or two sections each day. You have about 9 days to read them all.
6						You will be very confused, overwhelmed, and busy this week. Plan on doing 2 hours of work in this class each day and things should all come together.
7		8				Keep reading a section or two in unit 1 … you should print and check off the "key terms" in the study guide as you come across them.
8						In fact, it would be a good idea to start constructing your test 1 note sheet … which is allowed on the test and final exam.
9		9				Download the Stellarium program and play around with it (see Assignments in Blackboard)
10		10				Look over all the topics in the discussion board. Try to get an idea which one you will attempt to answer.
11		11				Start looking at the Stellarium assignment …. Learning this program early will help you in unit 1. If you do Stellaium early, you can skip discussion topic 1 (Early Bird Special)
12		12				Are you still reading one or two sections per day in the study guide???? You should have read over half of unit 1 material by now.
13		13			test 1 open early	Send in your first draft to discussion topic 1. If it is not 100%, you still have time to fix it.
14		14			test 1 open early	Send in your final draft to discussion topic 1 (either this day or the next)
15		15	Discussion 1 Due		test 1 open early	This would be a good time contact your instructor to get evaluated on Stellarium and earn the Early Bird bonus .... yes, that is one more thing on your busy plate but worth a chance to re-take a bombed test.
16		16		Test 1	suggested date	Take practice quiz #1 and then actual test #1 .... start working on unit 2
17		17			test 1 open late	Hey, why are you waiting to take test 1? I only have it open in case of an emergency ... not to party.

19		19			test 1 open late	If you haven't taken test 1 until now you are officially behind in the class and need to re-evaluate your time management. You have to play catch-up.
