SEAMAAC Food Pantry and Elders Delivery Programming
2
3
Thank you for making time to volunteer with our Hunger Relief Programming. Fighting food scarcity in South Philly is essential to SEAMAAC's mission of building stronger communities.
4
5
All of our regular programming is based out of our main office at 1711 S. Broad Street, Philadelphia PA 19148. Please come to the side entrance on Castle Ave.
6
7
On Monday, Tuesdays, and Wednesdays we host our food pantry. We need volunteers from 9:45am to noon and from 11:45am to 2pm. On Wednesdays only, we will prepare bags for the next day's delivery from 3-5pm.
8
9
On Thursdays, we deliver food to community elders. We need volunteer drivers to make a two-hour commitment between 10am and 2pm.

If you available, please fill in your name and contact information in the sign-up sheets for each day. Questions can be directed to our Volunteer Coordinator, Dom, at dbrennan@seamaac.org.

For Deliveries: If you're driving, please take a few minutes to clear as much space as possible in your trunk and back seat. We also recommend a buddy system if you're comfortable with a passenger in your car for delivery - parking can be tough in South Philly, and having a partner makes drop-off more efficient.

Unfortunately, we do not have our own parking lot. Street parking may be available near our entrance on Castle Avenue. Pantry volunteers using public transit can disembark at Tasker-Morris Station, just one block away from our office.

Masking is encouraged for all staff and volunteers. If you test positive for COVID-19 or have come in contact with someone who has tested positive, please notify Matt at msullivan@seamaac.org or Dom at dbrennan@seamaac.org.
