Legendary format is designed to be a more casual, thematic alternative to the competitive classic, contemporary, and core formats.

Format Defining Rules:1. Decks must have a minimum of 80 cards

2. This is a singleton format. No repeats.Unlimited, however, does function as designed.

3. Any hero that is legal in classic format is legal in Legendary format

Every player begins as they would any regular WoWTCG game, with the addition of a Legendary Artifact of their choice (that their deck is legal with) in play.Legendary artifacts may hold special deckbuilding rules just as a hero might.A player may forego a Legendary Artifact if they so choose, but this may not be wise as Legendary Artifacts provide powerful passive and active effects.Legendary artifacts have no tags, they do not "take up a slot" (this may be reworked, but is the current rule)

5. All Legendary Artifacts have the text on the back: "If this would leave play for any reason, flip it face down and add a Depletion counter instead. Basic: Pay 2 for each Depletion counter: Flip this face up."
