Objective: This document entails funding opportunities across professional levels and varying degrees of support. This document is meant to be shared widely to help students find funding large and small.
2
3
This document is a compilation of many sources that have been shared with me. Major contributors are Joe Curtis, Jacey Van Wert, Caroline Owens, Jordan Salomon, Stacey Farina, and Anat Belasen!

If links don't work, you think an opportunity should be labeled differently, or if you have more opportunities to add please email sbsambado@ucsb.edu

8
**As always, I'm open to suggestions to make this document more digestible and inclusive

Notes:
21
Some deadlines may shift over years, so I would double check deadlines prior to the due date
22
For deadlines that weren't clear on a date but gave a particular month, I would assign a deadline on the 1st of that month
23
I tried to assign at least one group to each grant type (e.g. field work, government, etc.) but some opportunities are more inclusive than what I wrote down!
24
Full list is meant to be all inclusive that can be filtered to specific categories, however I have broken it into separate sheets that are targeted for particular types of funding
25
Postdoc opportunities weren't as vetted (e.g. didn't check link or due date) since this is document is targetted for undergraduates and graduates in EEMB at UCSB
26
A new 'Workshop' tab has been added to increase transparency in learning & networking opportunities. Not all workshops have been vetted.
27
28
Column names & their meanings
29
type: targeted audience (i.e. undergraduate, graduate, postdoc, travel grants, workshops, outreach)
30
name: the name of the award, if name was not specific I gave it the organization name
31
organization: the name of the funding agency
32
due date: loose deadline of each application, if an application had an open submission (i.e funded until funding is not available = rolling), if there were multiple funding opportunities within name or organization = multiple
33
link: link to specific calling or main agency website to direct you to proposal calling
34
note: some resources shared with me had notes so I incorporated whatever was passed along to me
35
G - R: broad categories that I tried to assign funding opportunities to. 'X' means that opportunity highly encourages that group or interest to apply. Some grants are more inclusive than I labeled them to be.
