2 | 8/5/2025 18:20:46 | West Stanly High School | Stanly County Schools | High School Science Teacher (Prefer Chemistry background) | West Stanly High School is a wonderful school serving Oakboro & Locust area students in Stanly County. We are in need of a chemistry teacher. The successful applicant will primarily teach chemistry, but may teach occasional classes in other science disciplines. Ideally, the applicant will have a degree in Science Education, Chemistry, Biochemistry, or Physics. Experience is a plus, but we can work with the right applicant in showing that person how to create effective lesson plans, teaching strategies, and classroom management. We are about 35-40 minutes away from the UNCC campus. We have a lot of school spirit and our teachers get along with each other well. You won't get rich, but you will feel rewarded with your work. We would love someone right away, but we would also be interested in someone who could start in January in time for our Spring semester. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, please contact me via email and I can answer some questions for you and let you know how to proceed. | Dr. Sam Lemoine | Sam.Lemoine@stanlycountyschools.org | 704-961-5299 | ||||||
