This workbook contains a template for the program proposal for the Global Studies Minor in Latin American Studies, 2026-27, broken down into multiple tables. There are a total of 6 sheets, including this index page. Hyperlinks to each sheet can be found below.

General Degree Policies: The GS-LAS minor requires that at least 15 of 28 units must be completed at Stanford. All courses counted toward the minor must be taken for a letter grade, except where letter grades are not offered.

Instructions: Those interested in declaring the GS-LAS minor must develop an individual program plan using the program proposal spreadsheet below and set up an appointment with a GS-LAS minor advisor (either the CLAS academic and student services officer or associate director) to review their minor plan PRIOR to declaring in Axess. This spreadsheet is set to view-only. Please download a personal copy to edit.
