Doug Bambery Trophy

The Bambery Trophy was presented to the Centre by the late Doug Bambery (Hutt Bowling Club) for annual competition between selected Men's sides from Wellington and Hutt Zones of the Centre Pennants competition.

Each side shall comprise eight (8) four’s teams.

The teams must be selected from regular bowlers participating in the Pennants competition. A Regular bowler is one who has played in more than half of the scheduled pennant rounds for the current season.

1Two games of 18 ends shall be played, the morning game starting at 9.30 am.

2There is no time limit, draws count.

3Complete scorecards will be kept. Points awarded as follows:

Win = 2 pts, Draw = 1 pt, loss = 0 pts

On completion of two rounds the winning side will be the side with most points.

4In the event of a Draw, the side with the highest shot differential is to determine the winner. If shot differential is the same, the side with the highest ends won will determine the winner.

5Games will be played alternately at City and Hutt Valley venues.

The Centre will award a Bambery Pin to each bowler participating in the tournament for the first time.

Janet Lynch memorial Trophy

The Janet Lynch Memorial Trophy is an annual competition between selected sides from Wellington and Hutt Valley Women's Pennants clubs.
