Small Group 9:00-9:30Students will be given a snowman face with a letter. Students will work as a group and name the letter and the sound. Students will work together to find the pictures that begin the sound. Students will create the snowman using the correct pictures with correct sound.Using white circles students will write out their name. Students will then place the "snowballs" in a vertical pattern to resembal a snowman. Students will place a snowman head at the top of their name.After reading the book Sneezy the Snowman, students will complete the writing prompt. My snowman melted because. Teachers will dictate exactly what the students say. Students will then take shaving cream/glue mixture to make "melted" snow. Students will place pieces of a snowman on the shaving cream/glue mixture.Students will be given four pictures of the proper steps to create a snowman. Students will place the pictures in order to complete the steps of how to build a snowman.
