How to use this worksheet:

Preparation: Fill in up to 9 participant's names in cells A1-C3. This is the check-in-zone, where participants put their cursor whenever they are idle, or when the facilitator re-arranges the worksheet. The Facilitator's name goes in A1.

Rounds: When facilitating rounds, name the first participant for that round, the others follow in the order of the cells in A1-C3, e.g. if B2 is first, B3 is second, C1 is third, and A3 is last.

Sorting: Sorting cells on this sheet is only possible when selecting ranges, otherwise the other sections would be mixed up. This information cell serves the purpose of preventing accidentally sorting the entire worksheet.

1 - The Driver
Start with the driver, list needs and conditions, facilitate rounds if necessary.

2 - Criteria and Considerations
List criteria and considerations as questions, when group consents to the list of questions being complete, the facilitator goes through all questions and marks them as 'info' for information gathering questions, and 'generative" for generative questsions. For each information gathering questions, the input of the group is heard. If there's many questions, the facilitator might want to ask the group for priorities (1-3 or A-C), and sort the questions accordingly.

3 - Ideas
Collect ideas in rounds or brainstorming style. When ideas are exhausted (or after a timebox), the facilitator and the participants go through the questions, and mark each one when there's enough ideas for that question. More ideas are captured for the remaining questions, or until the group consents to stop looking for ideas. If necessary, ideas can be categorized and voted on. Voting is entirely optional, and only serves as information for the tuners. For voting, assign 1 vote for every 5 ideas to each participant. Participants may vote '-10' for each idea they think they cannot live with.

4 - Prepare Tuning
Select up to 4 tuners, add their names in the check-in area on the worksheet "proposal". Copy all ideas (including categories and total of votes, if applicable, in that case make sure to paste "values only", otherwise the values are not pasted correcly) to the worksheet "Ideas Repository".

5 - Tuning
Tuners build the proposal on the worksheet "Proposal", marking ideas as used on the worksheet "Unused Ideas" as they go. If necessary, tuners can create several proposals by making several copies of that worksheet
