Significant - issues that make it very difficult to engage with the content/platform

After saving NVDA announces, "additional results loaded" Did not hear that with JAWS. Is nice to have.

2Edit a Course record 1. Go to Course name Calculus 101-2

4. Save record		User unable to use "enter" to activate Calculus, had to use either "control-enter" or press enter 2x which is nonstandard (significant)
Upon activation of item, no audible alert given that anything occurred (new page loaded) and user is told they are on an "expanded button" but not told what the button is
It appears that the "expanded button" is located between the "actions" button and the "course data" button on the page? (significant)
Actvation of "actions menu" button opens the submenu, but the screen reader does not state that anything has occurred (significant)
Only way for user to interact with the items in the "actions" menu it to tab to them, or force the screen reader into focus mode which is nonstandard (a user would not know that they are supposed to turn on focus mode at this point) (severe)
Upon saving, focus goes back to the "expanded button" item and there is no audible indication that anything has occurred (significant)		There is no Course named Calculus 101-2 (we will use Calculus 101)
None of the course elements (in the results table) read as actionable when navigating by arrow keys, when navigating by Tab key, focus goes to the entire row, and it appears that the element is able to be acted upon, but screen reader does not announce that the row is an actionable element (link/button) (severe)
Upon activation of the Calculus 101 item, new page loads and focus goes to the top of the window rather than to newly loaded content (significant)
The actions menu options do not appear after the Actions menu button. If a user is arrowing through the page, they will hear "actions menu button expanded" and the next down arrow goes to "Course Data button expanded" When activating the Actions menu button, the menu should lock the user's focus within that menu so that they understand what items are available within the menu and do not accidentally leave the menu without realizing it. (signicant/severe)
The actions submenu actually appears after the "profile menu button" on the page, which is out of the proper flow (severe)
Upon activating the "edit button" focus is pushed to the top of the page, not to the top of the new content (significant)

6Add Reserve item to a Course Record1. Stay on record
2. Go to Add existing Inventory item as a reserve
3. Enter the barcode A1481139269
4. An error message should be read

6. Item should be successfully added		When item is added, it reads "added ABA journal times." It's reading the "close" button (represented by "X" as "times") (usability)Add existing inventory item as a reserve is not a heading, thus very difficulty to find. It would be best for each section to have a heading (significant)
Error message read - excellent
When item added, the successful add is seen and read
The error and success messages leave after a short amount of time - need to be sure enough time is given to sighted user (low vision and/or slower processing) to ensure they can understand error or success

7Edit Reserve item information 1. Now edit the item you just added

Edit button is a link, not a button which is confusing as other items to make changes are buttons (usability)
There a multiple links with the same name, making it difficult to determine where each individual link goes or does (significant/severe)

9Search for Reserve item1. Access Reserves
2. Search 9000		All same issues as with JAWS other than when search is activated, screen reader does read that 1 record has been foundThe courses and reserves buttons appear to behave like a tab group, but the buttons do not indicate which item is active, so it's difficult for a user to know which one they are using (severe)
Upon activation of either option, there is no indication given that anything happened (switch from one to the other) (signficant/severe depending on if the first item is addressed)
When reserves is the active button, the search field still reads "search courses" rather than "search reserves" (severe)
Upon activation of 9000 search, screen reader reads 2 records found although visually it shows only 1 record (bug?)
