Save money or minerals by deploying a minefield with one torpedo launcher, and scooping up again with a different launcher type.

In the top-left box, select the torpedo type you want to scoop into, and how many torps you want.

The chart on the right will tell you what torp you can use and how much MC savings it will give you. (Savings highlighted in bold).

If you want to save money on Mk.8 torps, you can deploy Mk.4 torps. Select Mk.8 on the left and enter 100 torps.

The chart will tell you that you will save 1,786 MC if you use Mk.4 torps. Or if you use Mk.7 torps, you will save 936 MC.

If you want to save money/minerals on 100 Gamma Bombs, you will see that you will save both minerals and MC,

Note that sometimes values can be negative, meaning it costs you more MC or minerals to convert using this torpedo type.

Mk.4 will always save MC converting into another torp type. Mk.7 will often do so.

Higher-tech torps will always save minerals against lower tech torps.
