7/23/2017 14:20:37Save your appetite for the best (or 2nd best?) BBQ in NC. You absolutely will not be disappointed. Great BBQ (better than anything in Lexington - which isn't saying much) while you dine at outdoor tables watching the planes land and take off at Gilliam McDonnell airport. Plan your trip around this stop!Pik N Pig

Another good riding day, but very hot (90s). All paved backroads with the exception of the red stretch and blue right after it (See note bellow). Subway show on Kevin's map was a good mid point stop to energize.
Blue route is blocked about 500 yds after the small red stretch. Looks like farmer bulldozed pavement and blocked passage. Had to trackback detour.

All asphalt. Very pretty roads again. Secluded and low traffic. Loved it
