Introduction
This document intends to help the Capacity Building Working Group (CB-WG) to identify Speakers for the At-Large capacity-building webinars. The working group would like to have a diverse set of speakers to reflect the diversity we have within the community while examining topics from different perspectives. There is no guarantee that all topics indicated in this document would be covered within a short time frame. Topics that would be covered at any particular time depend on the need of the community in any specific time. There is also no guarantee that whoever indicates his/her interest to present would be asked to present. However, the WG would try as much as possible (where practical) to choose speakers based on their knowledge of the topic while making sure that speakers are from a diverse background. This would help in reflecting the diversity of people and opinion within the community. The working group would make the final decision on Speakers after due diligence.
2
At-Large Webinar.
The At-Large capacity building webinar series is aimed at helping members of the At-Large community in particular to build their knowledge based on a different topic of interest. These topics are selected based on what is relevant to the community at any particular time. However, the series would focus on areas that have been identified as priority areas for ICANN at any particular time or related to specific strategic plans as determined by the ALAC. The webinars are expected to help members of the At-Large community to have a good understanding of discussions happening within the community.
3
Criteria for Speaker Selection
A Speaker would be selected based on the depth and dimension of the topic to be discussed. Some topics can be technical; however, the working group might decide not to deal with the technical side of the topic but the policy side of the topic. The CB-WG hopes that whoever is indicating their interest should also indicate as much information as possible as this would help the working group in making a quick decision when trying to select a speaker. Please include examples of previous presentations and if possible a link or recording of the event. The working group could also organise sessions to help improve our different skills such a presentation skills among others

The following table is not an exhaustive list of topics. If you feel that a specific topic should be considered not ïncluded”feel free to provide the details for our consideration.
