These sheets can be used to keep record of student progress on the fact fluency boxes interviews.

They will show at most three data points. However, as a student progresses and is reassessed, scores would be replaced. It is suggested that this is noted using a comment in the cell of the new score. To add a comment, right click in the cell and choose 'comment' from the drop-down menu. When you hover over a cell with a comment (noted with a small yellow triangle at the top right), the comment appears. Keep the actual interview sheets with the child's name, score, and date as a complete record of their progress.

Each box is scored out of 5.

Conditional formatting is used as follows:

Go (5)If a student gets 2-3 data points that are green, it can be assumed they are proficient with that fact family or strategy.

Woah (4)If a student consistently gets yellow, they may need some more practice.

No (<4)If a student gets red, they are in need of intervention, unless it's not grade level appropriate.
(A student doesn't need intervention on their grade level core until later in the year. However, concepts from previous grade levels can be intervened on right away in the fall.)

* A first grader teacher wouldn't intervene on addition and subtraction until late in the year.

* A second grade teacher would intervene on the foundational addition and subtraction facts right away in the fall, but hold off intervening on derived facts until later in the year.

* A third grade teacher would intervene on all addition and subtraction facts at the beginning of the year, but wouldn't intervene on multiplication until later.
