Welcome! Whether you are a provider, organization, patient/client, or community member, we are so glad you are here to explore and contribute to our ever-growing and evolving crowdsourced community resource. We created this list in hopes of helping folks more easily connect with weight-inclusive providers and well-being support. Folks of all body sizes, identities, and experiences deserve quality care that is free from weight discrimination, anti-fat bias, pressure to pursue intentional weight loss, and diet culture. The research is clear: weight stigma in healthcare harms health outcomes and well-being, so all providers have the responsibility and duty to continue unlearning and dismantling their internalized biases towards weight, body size, food, and health. Thank you for being here!To submit a provider to this list, please fill out the following google form: Submission Form

Purpose, Use, & Disclaimer: This list's purpose is to serve as a resource for leads for finding weight-inclusive care in the Greater Pittsburgh and Pennsylvania areas. This list is for providers of all services & specializations, not just those who provide eating disorders care. This list is a community document that has been created and contributed to by various healthcare providers, clients, patients, and community members. Unfortunately, this list cannot guarantee weight-inclusive, Health At Every Size®-aligned (HAES®), fat-positive care, but rather should be used as a starting place to find leads. Our medical system is still deeply biased towards fat people and larger bodied folks, and finding care free of anti-fat bias and weight-discrimination is particularly difficult. This list also cannot guarantee that these providers are safe and affirming for folks who hold other systemically oppressed and marginalized identities (although we know that these folks are often harmed by weight-stigma the most), including folks who are BIPOC, queer, trans, disabled, neurodivergent, chronically ill, immigrants, people with uteruses, and more. By using this list, you acknowledge the intended purpose, use, and disclaimers. Our hope is that one day we won't have to provide these disclaimers or even need this resource to exist because everyone deserves quality, inclusive, non-stigmatizing care and all providers have the responsibility provide inclusive, non-stigmatizing care; unfortunately, our healthcare system is just not there yet. To provide updates or feedback on a current provider on this list, please fill out the following google form: Updates/Feedback Form

Who Can Be Added to this List: Healthcare providers, including medical providers and mental health providers, as well as fitness/movement specialists can be added to this list by one of three options: a) self-submission by a provider to add themself/their practice onto this list, b) colleague submission by a provider to add a fellow provider onto this list, c) community member submission to add a provider they have worked with/know of onto this list. Once a submission is made, providers and community members can provide relevant feedback and updates to existing submission to keep the document as accurate, up to date, and helpful as possible.
