In an attempt to capture the events surrounding the resignation of President Teresa Sullivan at UVA, the University Archives are trying to compile a list of articles, blogs, websites, video and audio on the web. This is just one part of a larger UVA Library and Special Collections project to capture these momentous events and there will be more ways to get involved in the near future. Go to http://www2.lib.virginia.edu/small/sullivanresigns.html for more details). I’m Gretchen Gueguen, the Digital Archivist at the Special Collections
Library of the University of Virginia. You can contact gmg2n@virginia.edu if you have particular questions about this document.

We are posting the list we’ve compiled so far, both for you to have as a resource and also because we could use your help. Please take a look at this spreadsheet of what has been tracked so far. There are six tabs for news sources, individual documents, video, audio, websites, and blog posts. This is in no way a comprehensive list*, but it’s a start. If there are things you think we should know about that aren’t there, please add them BELOW the black line (this will help me keep track of what I’ve seen already and what I haven’t). The Special Collections department and the researchers of tomorrow thank you!

*We’ve made only a passive attempt to track news sources so (i.e. these are things we’ve seen flit by on twitter). We less concerned about saving these more established outlets at the moment as we will have time in the future to do exhaustive searches of them. But please do add things you think we should know about.

Also, we’ve classed magazines, including print and web-only ones, as “blogs” rather than new for now. This may change inthe future, but we are sticking with it for consistency at the moment. If you want to add something, just add it where you think it is appropriate and don’t worry as much about the category.
