This set of spreadsheets is designed to help community members to conduct an initail review for potential property acquisitions. Here's what you need to know to get started:

1.Tab #1 is a check-list to guide the initial property review process. You can use this tab to track your progress

2.Tab #2 gathers basic information including contact information, property type, acquisition purpose, links, and narrative

3.Tab #3 contains rental information for the property. Fill in the yellow cells. Column K (rents) is critical for Tab #4 to work.

4.Tab #4 is a financial analysis of the property. This is the most complex tab. Fill in the yellow cells to the best of your ability - some of the yellow cells are already filled in with standard assumptions, some are blank and need to be filled in by you. When you fill in the yellow cells, the blue cells will be automatically calculated. Do not change the blue cells unless you really know what you're doing.

5.Tab #5 is about what's next! Given the information you've gathered, please fill in the decision making metrics, and make a recommendation for next steps on the top half of the page. On the second half of the page you can detail out required resources and detail suggested actions as apropriate.
