5 | 4 | Development of CFD post processor and analysis tool | One of the simplest yet most useful applications of scripting is the automation of manual interaction with the computer. Here, it means running programs for mesh generation, flow simulation, post– processing analysis, and plotting, and doing it over a complex matrix of initial conditions, boundary conditions, fluid properties, and geometry variants. Python scripting provides the ability to interact with both the operating system and each of the component codes, and to perform complex analysis and plotting. With this objective in mind, a modular approach will be adopted with a small achievable targets for each set of students for a targeted three months of duration.
