Hobbies--Watching movies. COVID has also impacted how we interact. Previously went to the cinema. watch them at home now--I like to do photography. I like to cook, you know, hang out with friends and family, stuff like that-I enjoy watching YouTube videos. Listen to music and writing.-I have a pretty good little life. I travel quite a bit. Cycling. I don't have a huge amount of stress in my life.Stay at home mom-Like travellingI love to go out places, I usually watch TV play video games,--

Typical daySo because I'm remote, I have to, I'm tied to my computer. Maybe other than the weekends on occasion, we don't really have other things to do. I did do my meditation for a while. Gentle yoga. It was called, which was really nice cause that was in the neighborhood. But I stopped even doing that. And I guess lazy, I don't know. I don't want to say lazy, but it's just, it's become routine. From the moment that I woke up, I took the dog for a walk because that's usually what I do when I wake up to the point that I have two cats. So I fed the cat and basically I just go for walks, like, you know, to help me with energy. I basically really don't do anything, went to the store. Used to be active, but that all changed because of the health problems Woke up to shower and went to work one of those days that, because right now I'm still half of the time working from home another half I'm commuting to work. So I went to work and spend the whole day and there was chatting with colleagues about maybe upcoming projects. So coming to it back to work back home and then having dinner, watching a movie, and going to bed is an off day for me.-I worked at work from home, so that was the majority of my day, getting breakfast, getting, gain everybody in the household, ready to go get ready, either work or school. And then I started working about 10 o'clock online, online meetings also. And then I finished work at about five 30.I pretty much woke up and then also landed up taking out my dog out for a walk and then from there pretty much getting ready for going into the office. And that was like, After that ate a little breakfast and then pretty much set up shop for everybody to get into the office. And then after that, let's see, you know, I laid up going home and then also taking my dog out for a walk again and then pretty much doing some more work.Meeting with the writers group. Then I went to just hung around the house. So it was reading and cleaning and stuff like that. Preparing for the holidays, taking one hall, it was taking Hanukkah down and putting up Christmas. So then I took my friend. I'm a member of the Los Angeles zoo have been for 20 years. I've been taking my kids since they were little and I still, and they have this thing called the festival of lights where the zoo is open at night and they do it up with fancy lights and music and Coco.I just woke up, wash my face, brush my teeth. Then I just hung out for a little while. Then I ate breakfast. Then I talked to my mother on a video chat and then I watched some TV and did a little bit of a thing. I have to do a discussion board, like a market research discussion board. I did that in the rest of the day. I just kind of hung out. I slept, I slept a lot yesterday.I woke up yesterday. I, I have a little ritual in the morning. I wake up and I have the glass of water with my iron tablets, which are taking, cause I have a anemia, usually spike up and half that. And I sit outside with a cigarette, don’t judgme me, I have that with the cigarette and then I usually then go walk the dog. So we do a nice long walk and there's lots of trails and so forth over here in New Mexico. So we do about a 45 minute walk and then I got back, got myself showered changed, et cetera, and then proceeded to run some errands. One of which was the going into the ups office to give them a piece of my mind because my package that I sent out hadn't been picked up.I'll get up, have coffee, I'm on my computer, do some business. When the sun comes up and it warms up, I'll take a shower. And then I head down to the beach with my laptop and my phoneI wake up other than the normal routine. Whenever the baby wakes up, I wake up, my husband has a full-time job. So we divide work, even though he's working from home, he helps with the chores and everything, but a typical day will be like getting up in the morning. Either of us give breakfast to the kids. I mean, obviously the spawn when just have the milk, but making sure everyone gets breakfast, breakfast to school, like we prefer home cooked meal. Most of the times we avoid going out strictly last two years, we have hardly stepped out other than just like when we get home delivered food and everything. I mean, the groceries, the most, we'd always like going for a walk once in a while, but we do most of the activities at home. And then just preparing lunch dinner. Like it's not like separate things, but whatever it is, it is.I would wake up and make sure my children wake up for their online schools, because it's very easy for them to just sleep through and I'll get ready for work and head into the office, check emails, check in with my staff. We usually have volunteers running a food bank, so I'll make sure that the orders came in. I'll make sure that boxes are packed. I am working on writing some material for a camp. So probably spend a couple of hours writing every day. So there's just a lot of time with people listening to their stories at home around 4, 4 30 cooked dinner, we're in the process of moving houses. So after dinner, I hopefully get a second wind and I can pack 10 boxes, throw in a load of laundry wash, rinse, repeat it's 4:30 AM the next day. It's just, it's constant motion, very busy. And like I said, no day is ever the same.-Well, after painting a picture for my customer, I usually watch TV play video games, and whenever I get tired, you know, I lay down and take my little gnatsShe is now trying to find the property and it takes all her time. She is very stressedFirst, early in the morning, I have to get my babies cause I have two babies. I have to scores, give their needs, whatever they needs is changed, diapers like that. And after that I had to prepare their food. That's what I'm always doing. Same, same routine. After the, of course they will eat the food. And after that they're going to school. I have to drop them off in school, all of my kids. And after that I do all the chores. Then in an hours I have to pick, pick them up the same routine. That? After that I have to make sure that I have to check the homework and help them with the homework. That's it. I'm doing always.

Physical activityNot as much as she wants, bc of the remote workShe walks a lot while walking with the dog. She has a fitness tracker + Fitbit I exercise in the houseNot as much because of COVID and moving from Boston to Santa Fe-Not a lot, have busy days with work & children-She is pretty active woman. I'm on thinner side. I do a 5k. I exercise like every day I eat. Right. I don't drink a lot. I don't smoke or any of that shit. Well, I don't consistently do cardio, so I've been trying to go walking every day. Well, throughout the last six months I've been working at, I at home sidebar, a lot of different equipment to use at home. I bought a bunch of dumbbells and a barbell in advance. So I just been working out at home and it's a lot harder to work out at home than the gym because I don't have access to as much equipment. I go to the gym pretty much every day. SmokerI ride my bike every dayPracticing yogaI bought an apple watch, so I could have a pedometer. You know, I just kind of set some markers for myself of 10,000 steps a day, which I realized when I started tracking it, I was probably only doing about 2000 a day. So I really had to be proactive to get up and take a walk on my lunch hour or park in the furthest spot so that I could get the, get the steps I needed. So I would not let myself go to bed until I hit 10,000 steps.-I wasn't exercising as much as I should be. Used to go to gym but money is like one of the biggest concerns of why I hardly go to the gym. I usually take walks all the way from home to a rural area next to the park that I that's like a long, like four hours, four or five hours every day.I used to be a very active person. I'm just not anymore. I can't explain why. I don't really know. I know I need to be exercising and I'm not doing anything except for, I was doing those back. Not active as much as she should be

What does healthy means?Healthy is, is maintaining a balance, right? Like having a healthy weight, having the ability for your, for your age to perform normal things, normal functions, without having pains and aches, or, you know, worrying aboutEating healthy, managing my weight and just basically caring, caring about my life and myself in my house.Healthy I think being active, being physically active, mentally active. Healthy foods to me or natural foods, fruits, vegetables, meat, and nuts seeds. Water is water. I don't know who orders the food, but it needs to be in there because we need more water. I think that's healthy foods,Fruits and vegetables, the food time-based food, things that have both sugar or no sugar at all. Low-carb.Active, eating healthy “like a rabbit”, mental health. Mental health as well to also consider it's little kind of like relative to one another. It is a lifestyle, you exercising more, don't sit so much, you know, don't eat a bunch of fatty, whatever, crappy food, get enough sleep------Being active, have a healthy lifestyle, especially doing your exercising and, and taking care of yourself: eating well (eating food that doesn't have salt that doesn't have carbs that doesn't have cholesterol), controlling your weightif you're physically fit, not overweight and not having these issue-
14
What does unhealthy means?Well, I know what it's definitely me and my husband. We're not healthy. I obviously having diabetes is not great. So that's, that's unhealthy to me not taking care of yourself, you just eat like the bacon.Unhealthy being sitting in front of TV/computer all day, being not going out, not like enjoying the sun.Processed foods, junk snacks, carbonated beverages, sugary, real sweet and sugary foods. Let's see anything take out McDonald's fast food, sugar.-You know, like go to the McDonald's or go to anything like that too much spat, you know, eating a bunch of cakes.------Not taking care of yourself, not eating properly, not exercising--
15
How do you try to become more healthy?I have tried to change our eating habits. We have terrible, terrible eating habits, but those attempts I think are fleeting. Change eating habits: drink more water, eat more salads and fish-I had been at first, I was just trying to manage my high blood pressure without taking medicine. And I did, you know, okay. For a couple of years and then I couldn't control it anymore. So the doctor gave me medicine. Tried treating myself with my herbal formulas and I've been very successful, check her blood pressure 3 times a weekStarts eating fruits and vegetables that would help vitamins. Takes vitamins and supplements. I guess, for me, orient to orient a lot, maintain my stress level, take your medication every day. Tried Mediterranean diet, quit on alcohol. Making list of goals. I like writing down our goals that I want to do in order as to why I'm actually like doing it in the first place, like, why am I making these changes? Meal planning, making a basis of what exercise I can do in a week and sort of like figuring out things that way. And also like taking like quotes, like motivational quotes and stuff like thatShe already has pretty active lifestyle, started taking vitamins, tried to meditateI've been working on losing weight. I'm trying to eat less sodium, like eat less processed food, make more food at home, do more cardio and I'll take a lot of different supplements that are supposed to lower your blood pressure. Eat vitaminsIt wasn't enough for me to just be on medication to my blood pressure. I do actually do about five minutes, just sort of sitting still and just allow myself to just be, and sort of go into that mindset of just managing my breathing, managing my stress. Track her pressure. I also started to make few changes in my diet.Keep active lifestyle, I do cut down on alcohol. I usually just have a couple of glasses of wine every night, but I just completely give it up. I eat really healthy and my weight's really good. I taking some vitamins and supplementsI started taking better care. Like I never thought like start can be that harmful. So basically I was more mindful of how much time I'm using for my food when I'm preparing. started practicing yoga. Most helpful thing that I believe is like a salt intake when I worked really hard on it.I'm taking some medication for that and I am watching my diet and doing a little more exercise every week, seeing a therapist, which I did and it has been good.Keeping BP under control, you know, having a healthier lifestyle as much as possible, eating better, certainly cutting down on my salt intake. Taking pills. Looking for some tips in the internet on how to keep BP under control (red wine, olive oil etc). my health is a priority right now, and then, and it is much more of a priority since I got diagnosed with high blood pressure. A lot of people think, well, I take a pill, I'm fine. Like, kind of like, you know, diabetes, I can take a pill, I can take them up corpsman, or just take a shot. Yeah, you can, but you have to think you have somethingChange eating habits: eat more salads and groceries. But at the same time, when I cook it, it's not as appetizing as the ones I buy at the store. So that certainly greens can be a bit frustrated.Eat a lot of processed food, started trying to buy products that had less sodium, but that's pretty much the only thing I've even attempted to do.I changed my diet and I also exercise for a few days. That's it let's make maybe. And also no more stress (reading, good sleep). But it’s hard to maintain this lifestyle
16
Why don’t you achieve success?Laziness, not enough motivation it's a, a decision between sitting on my butt and watching TV versus staying up and cooking and portioning out things and stuff like that. I'm going to go for the sitting on my butt-Feeling trapped. I would say that my lifestyle yesterday, or, or some of the days is totally unhealthy. And the reason is it's not that I'm thinking about it right now. It's not out of my choice that I decided to be unhealthy. It's the circumstances and the way my life is around work and day day-to-day life, it's, it feels like you are in that trap or in that hole that you can't get out of.I had been at first, I was just trying to manage my high blood pressure without taking medicine. And I did, you know, okay. For a couple of years and then I couldn't control it anymore. So the doctor gave me medicine-She is a successful achiever. Cravings. Occasionally you kind of just want to, you know, kind of fall back into like old habits. Like again, obviously I'm somebody who, you know, likes to eat. So there's some things that, you know, I've had to cut out and, you know, sometimes it's tempting to be like, oh, I want that.---She can’t give up smoking, maybe because she made a full check up on lungs and they’re good--She is quite successful at her goals. I'm going to be on a diet until I lose this last 25 poundsNot have enough money for gym, have bad eating habitsDon’t even try to change habits , like I said, the only change that is any good for me at all is I'm eating differently. But not that much differently.Of course I need to lifestyle changes, diet and exercise, but it's really hard for me to do it when you're a bit older. It's really hard for me to move. And also the food here in us. I know I can't control my diet. That's a problem with me, the lifestyle. To be honest with you guys, it's really hard for me to control my appetite and to do extras. That's the problem.

MotivationCommunity, partner. When it comes to my personal choice, I'm much more forgiving, you know, and not meeting those goals. And I think it helps so much more if you and your partner are kind of on that same page, Cause I just like the doctor was telling me if you don't care about your own health, nobody else will. Diabetes is a family issue, so she’s afraid of dying bc of it. Community See, when I went there, what we had there was that we all sit in a group and we talk about diabetes and helping each other. Community, surrounding. So if you're surrounded by, you know, similar like-minded people, active people, you tend to, you tend to follow them and be part of that group. Writing goals. Writing is, I think because I do write technical papers, but I liked the process of just writing because as I said that it helps me coalesce and then kind of have it much more like available, like the thought there's a thought process. And so my goal in life right now is to have fun. That's my biggest goal, much have fun and to continue to be a kind human. I was going in and meeting people, which I enjoyed that because I like to socialize. And it's good just to see people and see their progress and to just help celebrate with them, you know, their success in losing weight. That was nice. But also online is good because like I said, it's good to help you track, you know what you're doing. And so I like both ways, the going into person and also doing online.-I'm doing what's best for me. Results. Making lists, plans. I can like kind of like objectively look at myself now compared to before and that there is a difference and it's a good difference. -I just know, you know, how blood pressure is a very serious thing and it can cause a lot of problems and I just want to be as healthy as possible. So I want to make sure that I'm taking all the medicine that I've been prescribed so I can live a long, healthy life. So what I do to stay consistent is I take pictures of, I take progress pictures of myself, and then I'll look at pictures of people who are the size that I want to be. And it helps me stay motivated.Achiever. It wasn't enough for me to just be on medication to my blood pressure. I'm such a competitive person. When I go to the gym, it's about how much I sweat, how much can I really met my heartbeat? Because it's just inherent in my nature that I'm so competitive that I compete against my soul and I wanted my BP to be perfect. Monitoring changesRiding a bike helps me a lot of ways. It helps with probably the blood pressure. I'm 125 pounds. It keeps my weight really stable. It helps me sleep. It's my routine. It's what I do.Live healthy lifeI need to feel like capable of doing all I have to do. And I could be there for my kids and my husband and all those things. Having a plan. Inspiring results from her husband, sense of community. I want to see those people and them say, wow, you look really good. You know, I can tell you really work hard as I have.Being healthy and live a healthy life: results. I felt most motivated when I felt healthier and I felt, you know, things were going well and, and you know, I kept, I remember, I keep thinking spring in the warmer weather is coming. I want to feel better and have lost some of the weight. That's basically what I've been thinking about.--Been able to take care of children and family
18
ProblemsI hated gym to begin with the shorts. I hated doing stupid things in gym. I always felt very uncoordinated and like, eyes are on you, but then, you know, as you get older, I've been to different kinds of gyms. I've even been to like all woman gyms or whatever. Oh, okay. Yeah. No, like the idea of getting ready, getting yourself ready, packing the bag, getting over there, you know, then figuring out what machines or God forbid. I'm trying to figure out what, how to do the machineEmbarrassed having the diabetes. At the beginning, when I was going through the type two diabetes thing, I kept that kind of like private. I didn't really like wanting him to know, like I was, it wasn't eating right. And I wasn't doing this and I wasn't doing that. I just kept it like undercover.I'm throwing COVID into the mix because a lot of places you have to wear mask. I mean, if you're in a closed environment, so I can't go to the gym, I used to go to the gym. So I couldn't go to the gym now. So instead of working on a treadmill, I have to find out, okay, maybe I'll I like to bike. And so when got high blood pressure was really hurtful because I had worked really hard to keep my weight off and also to just be healthy because if you do gain a little weight, people automatically assume that you're not healthy and that you're sick or something's wrong. And so I had gained some weight and then, but I had kept a blood pressure at a good level. And so when I got high blood pressure, it was hurtful because I worked so hard to, you know, keep myself healthy and then high blood pressure, you know, it's just, I'm sick now. So I, I felt bad, but I, you know, I did everything I could to try to maintain and keep a healthy blood pressure. But sometimes I wasn't able to do that on my own. I needed medicine. Have some issues with cuff, it comes to error oftenShe is upset about the diagnosis. I was like, oh, no, I don't want high blood pressure. I don't know what my, how my dad's struggled with it. And I just didn't, it just brought back memories about my dad and how he struggle with pressure the same day.-Unclear cause of health change, they diagnosed it as white coat syndrome. HBP it was inherited from father. I live a pretty healthy lifestyle and you know, and so now I know that it, it could be an inherited thing, you know, that it does run in families. Medication doesn’t work, so he gave me a new medication. So now I'm on two. Bc she already has a healthy lifestyle. I've always been of the mindset, you know, live a clean life and you don't have to take medication. But she needs to take medication nowI feel like I really wish I could get off the medicine. I done worked on losing weight, eating less sodium, you know, just living an overall healthier life so I can manage my blood pressure without medicine. I'm just, I go just too lazy to track pressure manually it every day.Frustrated when her BP is fat from normal rates, but she does a lot to keep it normal. And because I sort of have basic knowledge, but I wanted it to come from a credible source because I mean, the internet is just so full of lots of different things, but I wanted it from a credible source. Don’t want to be on medications for the rest of her lifeGenetic issue, her father died bc of heart issues. But she doesn’t care about this much. Well, I don't like having to go into the doctor's office. I just, I, if I had you have to do it, but I just don't want to have to go in all the time. Constant smoker, but her lungs are goodSurprised with diagnosis, thought like I'm young and I, I have never had like any smoke or alcohol. it like, it annoys me. It like angers me. I don't have any genetical high blood pressure history. So they said mostly like, what they believe is like, it's getting very common these days. And, but every, for all the stress that I have been through after I delivered. So then after the deliveries and stuff, they were like, it was difficult for them to control the high blood pressure. One challenge that they had is like, they had to give me a medication where I can still breastfeed and it won't go won't affect the baby. Wants to stop taking meds. It’s hard to measure BP, cuff is noisy, make photos of resultsStressful work. That's annoying to have to take a pill every day just to remember, you know, and to pay for it and make sure you take it. And that's frustrating. It’s hard to fall in love with running. I'd rather push myself to run and not eat, you know, all the junk that I want to eat and, and try to fix it more naturally than, than having to monitor myself. She is scared of HBP, thinks its silent killer. Anxious about thatI mean, I'm a big eater. Don't get me wrong, but there's a lot of, there's a lot of people in my family who don't really eat healthy. I feel guilty about eating a certain things. Used to go to gym but money is like one of the biggest concerns of why I hardly go to the gymI mean the first medication they gave me, I had an allergic reaction to the very first day. So then she put me on the verapamil and I've been on that ever since. So I've had no adjustments, nothing. So I don't even know if, you know, if it's the proper medication for me at this point. I need to lose weight, but I never was overweight my entire life up until about five, six years ago. So I don't even know how to begin to deal with being overweight. One of my problems is I do love sweets, so I do eat too many sweets. I'm trying to kind of cut back on that.Hard to find motivation. You have to say always “yes” to your doctor, that’s what I always do. You have to say, but sometimes I, I listen to my doctor. Of course, that's for that's for my own good. You can’t always lie to your doctor, but I get back to previous lifestyle. Hard to share BP data with doctor

Food habitsWe have terrible, terrible eating habits, but those attempts I think are fleeting. --I eat one meal a day, tend to eat when I get up, I drank water. I try to drink a lot of water and I used to drink lemon, preliminary my water, but I think it's been breaking my face out lately.I have a meal plan and sometimes, but by what, by what I want or what my mood is, what I'm doing to eat, or sometimes I go by what we have in the house, what we have in our fridge.-Healthy habits, not having caffeine. I am a list maker, so I will make a list for grocery. like to cook every day, you know, so I will make something, I make kind of a meal plan, but a lot of times I'll make something that I can have for a week.Starts eating healthy, making meals at home. I basically eat similar things every day and there were certain things that I needed and, you know, over the past couple of weeks, I've been trying to, you know, eat less junk food. So I was just trying to think of like different things I could buy to make the different meals of trying to eat.And when I say changes in my diet, I'm very, very bad. I'm somebody that I can forget to eat. I'm just like eating is overrated. In my opinion is, you know, I really have to be starving to want to eat from things. And I started trying to make a change in that in having a couple of balanced meals per day, as opposed to having nothing all day and then having an evening meal. And it's sort of incorporating some fresh green vegetables and sort of anything green that I could get my ate and started liking kale and making smooth.Eat healthy. Blueberries, spinach, yogurt, oatmeal. I get no processed food and make my own smoothies, which I'll make one this afternoon, a blueberry smoothie, which is my own recipe. And they are so delicious. We don't use any canned food. Everything is cooked at home. Eat a lot of vegsTry eating healthyWatching her diet pretty wellI mean, I'm a big eater. Normal day: I had veggie burgers, leftover veggie burgers with sweet potato, French fries. And I had some ice cream, healthy popcorn. It's hard. It's really hard to try a diet, even though it sounds healthy. Also I've had is the frozen, I think it was healthy choice. Yeah. I'm not sure, but it was the lower calorie, whatever. I forget what it's brand, I've had a banana and that that's it. Oh no. And I've had a cookie. One of my problems is I do love sweets, so I do eat too many sweets. I'm trying to kind of cut back on that. II eat like a yogurt every day and I never realized there's a lot of sugar in yogurt. I really don't drink.instead of eating food that is heightened bad cholesterol, I tried to switch into good cholesterol. That is omega-3 fatty acid like that. I think it's, of course it will help also a few consume that kind of food instead of eating like burger or fries like that. Yeah.

Problems with other apps (fitness, healthcare)I can't give you like a conscious reason that I said, oh, I don't want to do this anymore. Right now, the watch is sitting on my, in the living room on the end table and it still buzzes.-But unfortunately, again, I think it was one of those things that you depend so much digitally. You're kind of writing things down then doing them actually. So I felt like physical writing things on a piece of paper, like helped me help me better in understanding where I am. I can write notes rather than you go to my fitness plan. ----Fitness pal. Used it to track what I ate every day to stay in the right calorie range and make sure I was getting the right amount of protein every day. And I stopped because I had lost about 15 pounds using my fitness power for about five or six weeks. But then once I stopped using it, I gained the all the way back. So I thought I need to be able to control my weight without having to track my calories, because I want to, you know, maintain the same weight throughout the year and I'd be going up and down.---Apple watch. ----

Features from other apps you like I like the idea of having, you know, everything, your weight, your blood, your just everything over time. And I was like, this is really cool.I'm on the United healthcare. They give you a free Fitbit. That helped me a lot too. They, they, they care about me too. So they gave me a Fitbit. They music get it to you, but you have to ask for it and I monitor it. Monitors your heart, you know, different things. It monitors your heart, your heart rate.---Present information and as a whole, they seem to have validity.I have an app that connects to my blood pressure cuff. It connects from the actual craft to the app. So I can just email that to my doctor and see when it's red. It was so fun. It was so convenient. It was very, very convenient, you know, especially nowadays with like doctors, you know, it was limited availability in person. Calm is an app for it's a meditation app. So I wanted to try meditating, you know, and just keep it quiet down my brain and stuff like that. I do it once a weekI have a smartwatch probably only had it for a couple of weeks. I haven't really used most of the features and I've used machines at the gym that check your body fat, like this little thing where you hold it in your hands and they touch your body fat. Google health. I used it to track my steps and they also have where you can track your blood pressure, but I never really actually actually start to use that feature. And they actually have a BP program where they send you a blood pressure monitor and then you download an app and then you can actually, you know, log like once you take your blood pressure, the app reads it and it keeps a log for you. So you can go in and have a look at your data and sort of see where the trends are and then know what you were going through at that time. It's not sort of like, this is a medical device because I get embarrassed about things and it's very compact and yeah, it just meets my needs. It meets my needs. And I think I also like it because it's what they use or looks very similar to what they actually use at the doctors as well. So it makes me feel like I'm using proper equipment, if that makes sense.--We have an app that's like a walkie talkie where we can just like record ourselves talking and send a recorded message, which is sometimes easier than trying to make a phone call, but probably once a month, we'll try to schedule like a chat like this, like a zoom call where it's two or three of us just talking and catching up and sharing about what's happening. We have an ongoing text chat that's always going. So if there's something vital that just gets thrown on right away and then people can chime in or whatever. There's about five of us on that.----

Relationships with doctorsThe prescribed plan didn’t work. So she decided to give up on treatment-Very good. Very, very nice. Like a very amicable, like very open. depend on, I care a lot about like what my cardiologist tells me.I would start just going to web MD and then, but I'm getting to where I don’t trust. I feel like we have M D is more about, I don't know, Iis going toward profits more than patient care. And I feel like we've been D has kind of fallen in to that category, whereas more about profits in patient care.Sometimes I do think that she has like some rude bedside manners, but for the most parts, pretty thorough and ensuring my care, having a treatmennt plan of how everything I come about. -He's direct, I found him to be competent, you know, and willing to listen. Especially with the, he uses a lot of modern technology. You can text him, you can email him, you can leave him a message. And I like that. I don't like having to call and wait, I like just text him. This is what's going on. It saves so much time. So I like that, that he's got a modern office. So I really liked him. I thought I could trust him a lot. So I haven't really had any experiences with him, prescribed my medicine. He just gave me refills or what I was already taking. When I get time with the doctor, even though he's trying to be attentive and listening, I've got this tiny little window of about 15 minutes to just tell him everything that's going on. I don't feel like it's long enough. So I just don't like the whole thing I get. I have a rare abdominal kidney and they didn't know this until I was 15 years old. So I was in a hospital for like weeks and weeks and they don't tell you anything. And I felt like I was like a prisoner and then they did this to me again, after I got released, I got to go back. It's horrible.-I had a really good doctor that said, you know, we can get this under control. We can make goals together. So she put me on a, like a pretty low dose of a medication to regulate my blood pressure. We set some goals for exercise and for certain amount of pounds that she wanted me to lose. -One doc, that doctor was independent. The other one was, is in, it is in an official hospital. And then those two were in Brooklyn. And in my recent one it's that one is more like on point so to speak.I liked my doctor. I, I felt good about the care I was getting. I did have to go to a pain management for my back that I was not so successful with.Often lies to doctor

What the ideal doctor should be?Informative, whether I agreed with all of the ideas or not. She always presented the information in a way that I never doubted her. Care & guidance. But I liked the GRADE study. They care about you and they, you know, they help you. They gave me like a chart with, you know, what portions of food you're supposed to eat, but it's up to the individual. If you want to do it, then that's up to you. But if you don't want to do it, then, you know, but they helped me a lot though.-What gives me trust? Okay. So there are some doctors that when the, what does medical thing, there's some doctors that I have followed over years and I've heard their perspectives over just life in general and countless. So I feel like I need somebody to listen to me overall and evaluate my total situation and you know, kind of come up with the plan on what I can do to improve my conditions.--Modern approach & technologiesWell, a lot of my doctors I've been to in the past are very moody and grouchy and not very friendly. And they just like, they don't really spend any time with you in the room that is coming there for two minutes and leave. So I like this doctor because he spends a lot of time with me during our visits and his mood is always stable. He's never grouchy. He's always nice. And he has a predictable demeanor. So I liked that about him.I would want to have to be able to have longer, more fluid conversations. But I really would, if I was having a one-to-one and I had the consultant that I'm talking to, that's what I'd want. I'd want that time of you remember what we've talked about, or even if you're not going to remember what we've talked about, you've had an opportunity to read the notes before we've had consultation and then you're regurgitating back to me. I think I'd like it be a lot more personalized. They should be honest, trustworthy and unbiased.-I wouldn't mind if she were a little more proactive about even wanting me to check in maybe mid year, you know, I, it, it, I guess it did feel a little bit like let's get through this form, let's set some reasonable goals.----

Ideal productThat's not creating a product though, but, or alternatively, a magic one to give me the self-discipline that I seem to lack when it comes to making those proper choicesI would use the wand to create something for my diabetes is I deal with that. I would create like a magic one that could suck this asthma out of me. Cause the ass was killing me the worst down.I wanted maybe more of a physical, like connection. I wish an app or something that would have, that would bring smaller fraction with a sense of communityI don't know if it will be an app or a website to show the doctors that are in my area. Okay. Like, you know, you can go get reviews on different doctorsWhere they have the expedite bags, some kind of circular thing that's implanted on the arm and it gives it readings every day on the phone I would say, would make that they can make that, something like that for high pressure, high blood pressure patients. I wouldn't have to worry about forgetting to do a reading on my blood pressure machine, it fit this thing. I can't really think of anything rose, like I wish was an app for this because probably if I thought about it, like in Duff, there probably is an app for it. Like there's nothing that comes to mind to be incredibly honest of you.Well, it would be nice to have like some kind of app either for the patient or the doctors were all your doctors are in one place and that information is shared amongst them. Well, you know, like I like that New York times meal plan. So maybe if some kind of a meal plan thing that could be specified to whatever medical problems are bothering youSo I would create some type of device where you could take fruits and vegetables and turn them into things that are really delicious, very easily without a lot of energy and a lot of time.I'm going to say that to have one, one medicine and out of everything that you said, there's two that I was toying with. One was going to be the amount of time with my doctor, but then my brain saying, yeah, but you'll be fine. You'll be brilliant by then. So you wouldn’t be needing time with your doctor, but it was, it was a toss up between having more time with my physician and taking just one medicine. It would be great to have like a, a tele-health with with somebody that could call you, like once a week and say, how are you doing on your, on your smoking? Or how are you? I mean, some, something like that I think would be, would be super, obviously the only addiction in those countries, some people it's the food, they, they can't eat healthyI suggest BP machine makers or maybe there's an outfit and it can directly integrate with the phone. It will be like really good. Like you don't have to worry about taking the screenshots and it's already there. Maybe it will be good. Like if there's an integration with the doctor and doctor gets a report, like if they can put it in my graph or something, and the doctor gets a notification, they know exactly what's going.if you journal what you eat, you become more mindful. You change your patterns, you change your behavior and you lose by. So maybe I can just fix myself magic wand. I don't know. We'll see.It might be a website that was very easy to navigate. That was user-friendly that would have really salient advice. You know, something like that, and also explaining not to overlook the importance of, of, of taking care of yourself. I don't know, maybe a blood pressure cuff that isn't bulky, maybe something you could, you know, that you're not carrying the thing, roll that around, you know, excuse me, I'm gonna take my blood.Probably like some kind of some kind of drink or maybe to mask the claims, but I can drink it like every, like drink it every day without any penalties. So I have no idea. I guess I'm not very creative. If I have a magic wand, of course the blood pressure, of course, you know, the health is, well, if you, if you don't have the type of pressure, everything will go smoothly. Everything will be fine. So I think first you need to solve. You need to be, you need to listen to your doctor, you need to, but whatever the doctor asked you are told you need to listen because that's for your own. Good. So I think hypertension, your, your, your health first,

Additional info-Participated in GRADE study. They care about you and they, you know, they help you. They gave me like a chart with, you know, what portions of food you're supposed to eat, but it's up to the individual. -Went to the weight loss challenge once a year where we all kind of compete against each other, say who can lose the most weight.-----Doesn’t have insurance----I never had medical insurance-
