15 | Adherence to COVID-19 Guidelines | Pridržavanje mera tokom COVID-19 pandemije | RHB | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | Adherence to COVID-19 guidelines is measured with 12 items based on the official WHO and the Serbian Ministry of Health COVID-19 guidelines. Five items related to newly introduced (e.g., physical distancing) or enhanced (e.g., thorough handwashing) health behaviors, in the previous 2 weeks, rated on a scale ranging from 1 (Never) to 5 (Very Often). Additional seven items referred to behaviors recommended to be avoided during the outbreak (e.g., visiting other households or attending social gatherings). Participants rated the frequency of these behaviors in the previous 2 weeks by entering a number. These seven items were multiplied by −1 so that higher scores would always correspond to greater adherence to COVID-19 guidelines. To convert into a common metric, all item scores were standardized. To handle outliers, z values above 3.29 were winsorized. A total score was calculated as an average of all 12 items. Collected measures were negatively skewed, but showed fair internal consistency. | recommended health behaviors, adherence to guidelines, health related behavior, covid-19 | srp; eng | Teovanovic, P., Lukic, P., Zupan, Z., Lazić, A., Ninković, M., & Zezelj, I. 21 | Anchoring Effect Tasks | Zadaci za merenja efekta ukotvljavanja | AE | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | In the initial phase, 24 general knowledge questions are presented on a computer screen, one at a time, and participants are instructed to state their estimates (E1) by using a numeric keypad. In the next phase, which follows immediately, the standard paradigm of anchoring is applied and participants are instructed to answer the same set of questions with an option to amend their initial responses. More precisely, for each of the 24 questions, participants are administered a comparative task and a final estimation task. In the comparative task, participants are required to indicate if their final response is higher or lower than the value of anchor (A). Anchors is set automatically by multiplying anchor-free estimates (E1) with predetermined values (that ranges from 0.2 to 1.8 between questions). Afterwards, on the estimation task, participants state their final response (E2) by using the numeric keypad. On each question, a bias score is calculated as a difference between the two estimates (E2 − E1), divided by a distance of anchor from the initial estimate (A−E1). | anchoring effect, cognitive biases, normative rationality | srp; eng | Teovanović, Predrag | teovanovic@gmail.com | Teovanović, P. 29 | Autonomous Motivation for Teaching Scale | Skala autonomne motivacije za poučavanje | AMT | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | Autonomous motivation for teaching scale (AMT) is a five-point Likert-type scale consisting of 16 items that measures four types of motivation: external, introjected, identified, and intrinsic. External motivation is the least autonomous, and this type of behaviour regulation can be done using rewards and punishments, and the behavior is present as long as such reinforcements exist. Next on the continuum of autonomy is introjected motivation - behavior is regulated by the desire to avoid feelings of guilt, shame, etc., and strives for positive (self) evaluations. Identified motivation is more autonomous than the previous type and is the result of identifying with the importance of behavior in terms of personal values and goals. Intrinsic motivation is the most autonomous and involves engaging in activities for its own sake, and is characterized by enthusiasm, excitement, spontaneity, high concentration and enjoyment. Based on the scale, the respondent receives five scores - one score for each type of motivation (average value on 39 items) and a total score. | motivation, teaching motivation, intrinsic, extrinsic, introjected, identified | eng; srp | Roth, G., Assor, A., Kanat-Maymon, Y., & Kaplan, H. 39 | Bidimensional Acculturation Scale | Dvodimenzionalna skala akulturacije | BAS | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | This scale measures an individual's acculturation degree by observing how much one uses one’s mother language and how much one uses the new, foreign language in everyday life. Therefore the scale provides scores for two domains - one referring to the native (Hispanic in the original study) and the other one referring to the foreign cultural domain (English in the original study). Items in both domains are grouped into three categories regarding language utility - language use, language proficiency and electronic media subscale - thereby examining how well one understands, speaks, reads and writes in two languages and how often are both of them used in everyday life (e.g. when communicating with friends, listening to the radio, reading the news, etc.). The scale shows high internal consistency and high validity coefficients. | culture, acculturation, language, migration | spa; eng; srp | Marin, G., Gamba J.R. (1996). 49 | Body Perception Questionnaire - Short Form | Upitnik telesne percepcije - kratka forma | BPQ-SF | short form | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | The Body Perception Questionnaire (BPQ) was created in the framework of polyvagal theory (Porges, 1995, 2011). As an instrument for self-assessement, it was developed to conceptually connect the subjective experience of the body with neurophysiological bases. The original BPQ (122 items, Porges, 1993) assessed body awareness, autonomic nervous system reactivity, cognitive-emotional-somatic stress response, styles of bodily and cognitive stress responses, and health history. The BPQ aspects that were mainly used in research studies were subscales of body awareness and autonomic reactivity that inspired the authors to offer a short form of 46 items (BPQ-SF). BPQ-SF validation results revealed that body awareness can be described by a single factor (which may reflect common afferent goals of cranial and spinal pathways in the brainstem), and autonomic reactivity is best described by sub-diaphragmatic and supra-diaphragmatic responses (implying different efferent control systems that lead to individual differences in physiological responses in different parts of the body; Cabrera et al, 2018). | body perception, body awareness, autonomic reactivity, autonomic nervous system, ANS, subdiaphragmatic reactivity, supradiaphragmatic reactivity | eng; srp | Cabrera, A., Kolacz, J., Pailhez, G., Bulbena-Cabre, A., Bulbena, A., & Porges, S. 86 | Dysfunctional Attitude Scale | Skala disfunkcionalnih stavova | DAS-A | FORM A | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | The Dysfunctional Attitude Scale (DAS) measures pervasive negative attitudes towards self, the outside world and the future. These attitudes are believed to be linked with depression and are even believed to be the cause of its development. The instrument consists of 40 items rated on a 7-point Likert scale (1-Totally agree to 7-Totally disagree) depending on how much the participants agree with the provided statement. Lower scores indicate the absence of negative attitudes, i.e. adaptive beliefs about one's self-worth and well-being, while higher scores indicate more negative attitudes, i.e. disordered cognition and presence of negative affect. The instrument demonstrates good internal psychometric properties. | dysfunctional attitudes, negative beliefs, depression, self-worth | eng; srp | Weissman, A., & Beck, A. T. (1978). 92 | Epistemic Trust, Mistrust, and Credulity Questionnaire | Skala epistemičkog poverenja, epistemičkog nepoverenja i epistemičke lakovernosti | ETMCQ | 15-item | CC BY-NC-SA 4.0 | This work was supported partly by the Ministry of Education, Science and Technological Development of the Republic of Serbia (contract number: 451-03-47/2023-01/200163) and the University of Belgrade, Faculty of Philosophy; and partly (APC incl.) by a research grant from Investigator-Initiated Studies Program of Merck Sharp & Dohme doo (grant number #100867). | Epistemic Trust, Mistrust, and Credulity Questionnaire (ETMCQ) globally measures a person's trust in communication and communicated knowledge, including epistemic stances about the quality of information and its sources. This is a short 15-item version of the scale which retains three separately scored subscales that refer to specific epistemic stances: Trust, Mistrust, and Credulity (5 items each). High scores indicate a tendency to be adequately open to information and learning (Trust), to be distrustful of any source of information thus tending to reject communicated knowledge (Mistrust), and to be undecided or unselective about the reliability and quality of information either way (Credulity) (Campbell et al., 2021). Cronbach’s alpha obtained in our study for subsamples of healthcare providers, parents, and laypeople was satisfactory for Trust (respectively, α₁ = .70, α₂ = .73, α₃ = .70) and Mistrust (α₁ = .66, α₂ = .56, α₃ = .66), and good for Credulity (α₁ = .82, α₂ = .78, α₃ = .77). | epistemic trust, epistemic mistrust, credulity | eng; srp | Damnjanović, Kaja; Ilić, Sandra; Kušić, Marija | kdamnjan@f.bg.ac.rs; sandra.ilic@f.bg.ac.rs; marija.kusic996@gmail.com | Campbell, C., Tanzer, M., Saunders, R., Booker, T., Allison, E., Li, E., O’Dowda, C., Luyten, P., & Fonagy, P.
