Respondents were asked whether they agree or disagree with the statement 'For all its faults, Britain's democratic system is one of the finest in the world’. Agree is a total of those who agreed strongly or tended to agree. Disagree is a total of those who tended to disagree and disagreed strongly.Fieldwork was carried out on 12 to 21 January 2012.
