DROPPING OUTDropping out at other than SAR checkpoints may require the participant to arrange their own way back to the start/finish line. Much of the course is back country with little or no access to retrieve dropped runners.

PARKINGYES, Lake Wenatchee Rec Club. The start is about 7 miles from the LWRC at DEEP CREEK. You may leave your car here and carpool. There isn't much parking at DEEP CREEK. You may sleep in your car. You may have a motor home. STAY OFF AIRFIELD. After start of the race, there are no more activities at LWRC. It will be LOCKED.

SHOWERSThere are NO shower facilities at the LWRC. Showers are available at Beaver Valley Lodge SAR Headquarters. The Cove and Lake Wenatchee State Park close by also have showers for a small fee (quarters).
