Ace Of Hearts Simfile Database
Last Updated: August 9, 2016
Currently serving 2,634 songs in 59 packs.
What's this thing for?
This spreadsheet tracks all the names and difficulty levels of every song currently available for download on the Ace Of Hearts Simfiles website.
All packs/songs in this database are legal picks for StepMania Online rooms I create, assuming I have the pack at the time, and depending who I'm with;
not all of my friends have all the packs I do.
How do I use it?
To check the song and difficulty list for a pack, pick its sheet from the list below.
The pack's name as it appears in-game is listed first.
If there is other pertinent version info, it's displayed in non-bolded text underneath the pack's folder name.
I'm here from your stream to request that you play a particular song, what do I need to know?
You'll want to check out the "Stream Status" column on the right side of each pack's sheet; that way, you'll know which packs I actually have,
and thus which packs you can make requests from - I don't personally have every single pack I offer on my website (though I do have many of them).
What you want to put in the chat for your request is the name of the song, and which pack it's in (since song names match multiple packs on occasion).
About the Status Column (AOH Self-Made & Compilation Packs Only)
The status column will point out newly-released and newly-fixed songs so they'll catch your eye more easily.
If you see a song title that has something [in small italic brackets], it's a note that tells you something additional you might need to know about the song;
sometimes multiple stepartists will chart the same exact song, and you'll need to know whose steps they are, or perhaps I may feel that you need
to know that a song is (or isn't) a particular popular version. In any case, if there's something to know, you'll see it in [small italic brackets].
Song sync? What are you talking about?
All songs are supposed to be synchronized such that if you hit the arrows at the right time, it yields the highest judgments (in my PrismRhythm theme,
that would be at least Awesome, preferably Magnificent judgments). Most songs are synced properly, and "feel on" to skilled players who play them.
However, stepartists can make syncing mistakes. If a song is off-sync, hitting arrows at what should be the right time will instead result in getting
imperfect judgments (instead of Awesomes, one would get Sweets or even Nices); they'll "feel off" or "not right" to skilled players, and if the problem
is bad enough, even newbies will be able to tell something just isn't right. So if you see in the Status column that I Resynced a song, it's very notable.
(On the other hand, some songs are not just synced correctly, but exceptionally well-synced; players will tell you "this one is really, really on.")
Will this database offend my good senses?
I hope not, but some of the packs do have song titles with curse words in them; you are warned.
Were the hilarious acronyms chosen on purpose?
Every one of them, yes; the r21Freak community tends to enjoy finding ways to use such acronyms, and you can even tell in some of the banners that
they're intentional. This goes for packs I've inducted as wholes (such as "r21Freak's Pack of Excellent New Interesting Simfiles," or "PENIS," as well
as "Gpop's Pack of Original Pad Simfiles," which he calls "POOPS"), and some I've made picks from for my Picks Packs (including "Tyler's Insanely
Terrific Simfiles," or "TITS" – he even proves with his second entry that this was intentional with "TITS 2: Electric Boobaloo"). Hey, at least stepartists
aren't without a sense of humor. :p
Which packs are in the Starter Bundle on your website that comes with songs?
If you want the Starter Bundle that has some songs included on it, and can't be bothered to look at the website right now, included are:
* Ace Of Hearts Pack ("Let's Try Ace Of Hearts" Trial) [June 2014]
* Exceltastic Four
* r21Freak's Pack of Excellent New Interesting Simfiles
* TLOES Chapter 1 ("The League of Extraordinary Stepmen")
At the moment, that's a total of 84 songs between the four packs.
I am planning to also include GPOPS in the future as well; that'd be +40 for a total of 124 songs.
All songs included in this Starter Bundle have all 5 difficulties.
