Vivian PetermanOngoing, Answered Prayer, Update to Previous RequestHealth- Peace and Healing; dealing with Cancer and treatments-Update from Jessica 7/3:in December she was unable to swallow/eat. This continued for 2 months until they discovered there was a mass pushing her esophagus closed. An esophageal stint was placed in to allow her to eat and radiation was completed and successfully shrunk the mass. Prayers answered and she was able to eat and have the stint removed. From not eating for 2 months she suffered from refeeding syndrome and an electrolyte imbalance and food re-entry was difficult. Prayers answered and she is past that and can eat normally now. She then was having trouble breathing so she was in the hospital so they could drain her lung. 2 liters of fluid was removed and provided relief and improved her ability to breathe. She has a plurex catheter inserted in her lung and we now drain it two times a week from home. She currently has shingles and we are asking for continued prayers for healing, relief, and strength. Thanks you all for the continued support and prayers!

Destiny AndrewsOngoingI have a coworker who shared with me that they currently do not know what they believe, whether God is real or not. I have extended an invite to church and shared my faith with this coworker and ask for prayers for a softened heart and reception of the gospel of Christ. UPDATE- The coworker that I asked everyone to be praying for did come to church this past Sunday! What a speedy answer to prayer!! Please continue to pray for him to receive the gospel & turn to Christ!

Toni and Ken NershiUpdate to Previous Request, Ongoing(see archive tab for previous updates) UPDATE 10/31: Ken had an exploratory laporotomy on Wednesday. Three intussusceptions were removed and his small intestine was ressectioned in three places. We will be here at Ochsner in New Orleans until the middle of next week. Once his bowels start to "wake up", a liquid diet will be introduced and gradually progress. Once the medical team is sure that Ken's digestive system is functioning as it should, we will go home. Without complications that could develop, that should be next week. Thank you for your prayers. The only goal of this surgery was to get the digestive tract working so we go back home and continue with immunotherapy treatment. I think Ken will feel so much better without the very bad GI symptoms that the intussusceptions were causing!
