National Nutrition Month - Bite by Bite library bulletin set ups
79
Help with the National Nutrition Month Library Displays around San Diego
80
The display must be put up one week prior to National Nutrition Month in March so preferably between February 24-27 depending on the availability of the volunteer. We will have potentially 2 meetings.
81
We will have potentially 2 meetings. The first meeting will be volunteers meet to discuss logistics and the second meeting will be handing out materials for Bite by Bite campaign. All volunteers will be working in groups based on the area they signed up under.
82
Each group will use their creativity to design the library display showcasing National Nutrition Month Bite by Bite. This is something that nutrition students can add to their portfolio.

**new!** Safe Parking Program - Volunteer
93
Every night at two secured lots, Jewish Family Service operates a Safe Parking Program for unsheltered San Diegans living in their vehicles, many of whom are experiencing homelessness for the first time. With a focus on stopping the downward spiral of homelessness, Safe Parking offers not just a reliable place to stay, but also a welcoming environment, meaningful resources, and dignified support to create a pathway to housing while meeting people where they are now.

With a focus on stopping the downward spiral of homelessness, Safe Parking offers not just a reliable place to stay, but also a welcoming environment, meaningful resources, and dignified support to create a pathway to housing while meeting people where they are now.
95
Our Volunteer Dinner Groups provide everything needed to host a full meal the night they join us to serve. By keeping nutritious food on our clients' plates, volunteers help take one of the burdens of homelessness off of their plates!
96
Dinner Groups also have the chance to share their meal with others, break down barriers, and participate in a service opportunity with coworkers, family, or friends.
97
We currently have volunteer opportunities to have volunteers serve a dinner at either our Balboa or Aero lot. We also have lead volunteer opportunities; the lead volunteer's job is to greet the volunteers who have provided a dinner for the evening.
