I moved Raleigh a year ago during a worldwide pandemic! It was an insane time to move to a bee place, start a new job and to get married! But it was so worth it! My list is full of books my students and I want for our classroom to help foster diversity and inclusion!

I am a special education and work with students in kindergarten through 8th grade. I work at a small, alternative school. To attend this school, all of the students have to have a documented mental health diagnosis because we also have mental health staff. Due to the school being so small we have a very small budget. My wishlist includes fidget tools, books and resources.

I teach at a Title 1 school in Canarsie Brooklyn, and My students are absolutely incredible, but often come to class without notebooks or pencils and so I end up providing these for them.
