I walked through the campground and forgot to check the water. There should be a spigot here, USFS website says

This is a good flowing Creek. No problem collecting from this one. It should be reliable, hence the name water Canyon. Very green and Lush.

Trough here on satellite. Looks like it could have water, but no definitive signs. The Egans have had a lot of of thus far…

There is a small pond here that has just recently dried up. In fact there looks to be a very small puddle left in the middle. There is a good chance of water here, just hope it is piped so you don't have to draw from the cow pon

I would not be surprised to see water here early season. It looks like water has been here, but not visible from satellite imagery.

This one looks promising from satellite. There is definitely Some sort of run below the spring, but it looks dry from satellite. There is a nice patch of green grass at the spring source and a two roads that lead here. If no water here at this marker, follow 1/4 mile upstream to spring source

There is definitely water visible from satellite, forming a small creek, puddle over road. This one almost certainly has water.

Large round trough with giant tree over hanging it. Massive amounts of algae and bugs. Can collect direct from pipe. If you can stand the bugs.

Upper Dacey Reservoir. Lots of water here but it's a bit of a marsh, not the easiest to collect from at this location.

Spring is located upstream from here, but this is the spot that seems to have the greatest potential for water. Looks like a couple of very shallow puddles here, and a tiny trickle flowing in and out.

Unverified spring, but very promising. This appears to be the spring that feeds the creek that supplies water to the ranch down hill.

No water visible from satellite. However, there is a lot of green here in the ditch downstream, and there looks to be some potential to find water here. This is the last chance for water before staying high and dry on the crest of the grant range. fill up here, if there is water

This creek should be flowing year round. There are several crossings here that require logs. It's very green and lush, shaded.

WARNING: Last water for 39 miles to HWY 6. There is no water here either, this is where you will hitch into Tonopah. So FILL UP here! Water here in June 2020. The trough is full, fed by a large tank. There was a generator here as well to operate the pump. This indicates potential for there to be no water here if the rancher has his cattle elsewhere. Check map for alternate water sources to the NE, and one to the SW

Off the side of the road to your left when heading up Hill is a small Green Meadow. There's a trickle of water running through here. It is guarded by Thorn bushes, so continue heading up Hill until you passed the thorn bushes and there is a route down to the meadow. This spring is dry here though, you must had back down hill until you see the spring flowing.

This is the spring source. A small Creek flows downhill, rode through the canyon crosses the creek two or three times.

Small trickle of water seeping out of the ground. Downstream, there is a flowing Creek. There's lots of green in this meadow , one should be able to find water somewhere.

There is water coming out of the hillside here, but is collecting in a rather stagnant pool. There is a lot of horse activity in this Canyon, I would get my water from the seep uphill

Very small trickle. Would have to dig a little hole. However, There appears to be other water sources in this Canyon.

This is the same Creek that has been flowing through this entire Valley. There is no shortage of water in this Valley

This spring forms a small flowing creek. Even here at the source, the water is fouled by cows, but drinkable. This area has seen heavy grazing

There's a flowing Creek here, it is shallow and the there was a lot of vegetation growing in the water. However, it was very simple to remove the vegetation and a few rocks to make a deeper pool to collect from.

Large creek. Shaded campground, picnic tables. Can soak in the creek here and wash up. Trout in the creek. There is water to be found all the way up to the top of the drainage.

Small creek. Downstream, the creek is flowing throughout the majority of the canyon. Water is not an issue here in this canyon. If no water here, just keep heading down. much more water in the lower canyon

There was a little water flowing over the road here in late June 2020. This is the last water when walking into Carvers. Water can be found upstream throuhout musch of the canyon

Plenty o' water here, it's a flowing river. There is water upstream to about mile 16.1 for this section, and there are many creek corssings where you will get your feet wet

If heading up Hill, approximate location of last water. Water can be found downstream all the way to the trailhead. There is a possibility of snowmelt along the crest (only found 13 miles north from here in 2020), otherwise it's 17 miles to the next semi-reliable water source.

There was snow here June 26th 2020, and this was somewhat of a low snow year. There was not much snow to be found along the rest of the ridgeline. Take advantage of this snow and melt some for drinking water. You can also follow Last Chance Creek downhill a ways and see if water can be found there.

Solid reliable creek. Leaving Groves Lake, keep an eye on the stream along side the road. If the stream is still flowing here, which it almost definitely will be, get your water here before heading up to the crest again

Should be enough snow up here to collect melt water. Snow visible on satellite here that is not present in the southern Toiyabes.

Good size creek observed farther upstream in late June 2020. This area is also heavily grazed by sheep, so the water may not be the best. It had an awful stench to it and I chose to pass. But, there is water if you are desperate
