ā€• Milton Friedman		Idea is to decentralise (via a reverse bid/auction of any/all citizens) the price (salary) level setting of polticians. otherwise, it is centralised (even though is meant to be independent body, still subject to cronyism). Evidence: Australia has gone further into debt with little transformative capital projects, yet politicians salaries have kept upping. The people should set the salary based on the politicians performance.
