Current & Next Rotations
5

This sheet is the Daily Deal rotation for the list beginning July 22, 2018 and ending January 2, 2019.

Which is the current deal? Use Edit - Find command or CTRL + F and enter "current" to quickly jump to the current deal

You will have to manually delete deals that have expired. The times of the deals are not generated by a formula so deleting the top rows will not affect the other rows. Other than deleting past deals, you should not alter any information on this sheet especially not columns A, D, E, F or G.

Columns D, E, F and G take information from other sheets to indicate whether you own the deal, your CYS, CYS for set to be "free" and the indicator that the set will be free. ("Ownership Info" is based on the contents of Column B of Items_Owned. "Your CYS" cell will display the CYS you entered on Set_Tracking. "Estimated CYS to be free" cell will be blank if you have entered "Owned" in the comments field in Set_Tracking or if the set is not eligible for CYS. Column G will display the message "Should be free" if your CYS is equal to or less than the CYS needed for the green download button to be triggered. Since the amount in Column F is an estimate, you may need to spend a few more simpoints to get the green download button.

The item names of the deals appear in the colour of their category; sets are shown in blue font, premium items in green font, venues in brown font, worlds in purple font and single items in black.

The deal numbers on various sheets are colour coded to indicate repeat deals.
6
Green fill are the lowest priced of the group of the repeated item
7
Yellow fill indicates that the item has repeated 3 or more times and the deal is neither the highest nor the lowest.
8
Red fill is used for the most expensive deal of the repeat (sometimes in can be only a few points more; sometimes hundreds more.)
9
White fill indicates the deal is only offered once in this rotation
10
This sheet is not a guarantee of when or if the deals will be offered. I do not work for the Sims 3 store and do not have any insider information as to when deals will be offered.
11
12
Set_Tracking - This is where you enter information
13

You will only be entering in Column C, Your CYS; in Column D, Comments and Column G, Group Number.

This is an alphabetical listing of the sets available in the Sims 3 store, both those sets on the DD and those not appearing on the DD. (Note sets beginning with "The" are sorted under "T")

Column A - Set name and hyperlink to the set's product page on the store website. Following the hyperlink to the product page, will give quick access to your CYS.
Column B - Indicates whether the set is on the DD or not appearing on the DD
Column C - This is where you enter your CYS. For those sets not eligible for the CYS discount, the cell contents will be "Not CYS". You may enter a zero to mean that you do did not own any piece of the set, yet.
Column D - Enter comments such as Owned, CYS to be Confirmed, Waiting on deal 123, etc.
Column E - Lists the set(s) or compilation(s) in which the set is included
Column F - Lists the subsets, if applicable, for the set
Column G - The group number is used to filter the data on the sheet to only show the sets of a compilation or combination set for easier tracking of the CYS. Group 1 has been entered as a sample. You can use the filter function to show only the sets of a selected group number. For example, Group 1 is:
Morocco Mystique + Cante Captivating
Morocco Mystique
Cante Captivating

To zoom in and out use the controls of your web browser hold down CTRL and use the + or -.

Green Rows - Once you enter in column D that the set is "Owned", the row turns green. (Note, the row will not turn green automatically if you enter any extra characters.) You will be able to see at a glance the sets you own and how much of the store you own.
Yellow Rows - If you enter "waiting" plus option extra text in column D, the D cell turns yellow. If you want the entire row to be colored, click at the beginning of the row, and select the paint can on the tool bar.
Deleting "Owned" or Waiting from the cells will remove the color fill.

Items-Owned
16
17
This sheet is an extension of the Set_Tracking sheet. This sheet automatically duplicates ownership information for sets based on what you have entered on the Set_Tracking page. You then manually update ownership of other items by typing "Owned" in Column B. (Careful not to delete the forumla in a row related to a set. If you do, simply copy and paste the formula from cell in Column B.

Hidden Sheets
51

Two sheets used to update the new rotation, Blue Rotation and White Rotation, are hidden. To unhide them, select View from the Menu Commands and then Hidden Sheets. When the rotation that is ending ends with a deal with white background color, copy rows 2 - 978 from the Blue Rotation sheet to paste deals 1 - 978 of the next rotation. When the rotation that is ending ends with a deal with blue background color, copy rows 2 - 978 from the White Rotation sheet to paste deals 1 - 978 of the next rotation.
52
53
The start time of the deals need to be updated.
54

- Change the start time of deal 1 to the formula of "cell address of deal 977 of previous rotation" + cell address of duration of deal 977 divided by 24 (hours)". For example if deal 977 is row 4 and the next rotation begins on row 5, the formula to be entered in L5 is "L4 + K4/24"
- Copy the formula for deal 1
- Go down to start time of deal 2
- Select Edit - Paste Special - Paste Forumla only
- The deal start times are now updated, but need to be changed to values so when rows of past deals are deleted the start times will not show an #REF error
- Select the whole column L
- Select Edit - Paste Special - Paste Values only
55
56
* If necessary, change the start time of the deal affected by change from/to standard time to/from daylight savings time. Find the deal where the time change occurs, for all the deals that follow, use the method shown above to recalculate the start time of the deals that follow.
