Fundraising = $$$
59
Fundraising Lead150+ hours3 hours5-7+ hoursHaving an online platform helps with this immensely. Set up the online fundraiser before registration opens and include the process of fundraising in the to-do list for racers. Work closely with social media point to push fundraising leading up to the race. Incentives with swag or fun experiences on race day are great to boost fundraising. If you are a 501c3 you can also accept matching donations. Have a clear process for anyone donating cash or checks on race day. Money should be secured and receipt books to verify amounts. Process donations and deposit cash/checks asap after the race.
