| Lorna Dekker | Zoomer Room throwing people into a loop with having to do extra work and ignore them, didn't sit well with teachers
| Nancy Lussier | Need something for kids who are on Zoom doing a warm up while kids in person don't ahve to do it
| Lorna Dekker | Teachers who are working from home due to medical aren't having to do the same things that in person teachers are doing with no time to do our job, go to the bathroom, smaller groups are better, but time to get things done is impossible
| 10/26/20 | ACMS | Patrick Malaret | Zoomers vs Roomers - The heavy lean towards virtual also made the district's instructions on the Zoomer vs Roomer issue more upsetting to teachers who were told to give special attention to less than 25% of their students. | ACMS admin have been strong allies on this issue to support teachers doing what is best for all their students. Admin is addressing this with district personel
| ACMS has also seen a huge shift towards virtual students. We initially had close to a 50-50 split. We now have about 75% of our students opting for virtual. This heavy split has led to some very small in person cohorts, sometimes even having only 1 student in the room with the teacher. Some teachers are not very comfortable with this.
| Teachers asked permission to bring air purifiers into their rooms and they have been told no | Please check again with admin. They should be allowed
| ACMS is currently "maxxed out" on staff that can cover learning hubs. This has led to some stressful interactions with HR regarding accommodations and concerns about what will happen if a teacher gets symptoms and needs to go virtual.
| The #1 safety concern I hear is about the testing schedule. The district organized it in such a way that a school site gets tested one week out of eight. Many teachers have expressed that they feel like the testing would do more to keep us safe if it was spread out across the eight weeks instead of crammed into one. Several teachers at ACMS sought accommodations late in the game specifically because of the testing schedule at the advice of their doctors. | Accomodated individuals will continue to have meetings until they are able to return to work.
| Talks of teachers doing Second Step have started popping up in meetings. Teachers are already overwhelmed with the challenges of distance learning, transitioning to Phase 2 and the huge loss of instructional minutes due to the cohort schedule. Asking teachers to sacrifice even more instructional time to teach a curriculum that quite a few teachers have never taught before just feels crazy. I don't know what is going on with Second Step or other SEL curriculum at other sites, but it is definitely a concern. | Noted and shared with Instruction.

| A teacher needing to step outside in order to take a drink of water. Teacher was concerned about a virtual parent seeing no teacher and would they be supported by admin
| Health screener. what happens when you answer yes to any of the questions? Do teachers have to stay home for 10 days? Does it come out of their own sub pay? Will this affect people answering honestly? | Please see Covid-19 Decision Guide
