The HRR XC Championships are held annually. In the 2015-16 season, points can be obtained when competing in the five races of the Oxfordshirel XC League, the five races of the Chiltern Cross Country League, the BBO (Berks, Bucks and Oxon) XC Championships race, the Southern XC Championships race and the National XC Championships race. In the 2015-16 season, the Oxon XC Championships race is not a separate race of the HRR XC Championships as it is the same race as the third Oxford Mail XC League race. The races are listed in the HRR event diary.

The scoring for the 2016-17 season will be the same as that used last year:
6
• Five points are obtained for each of the first 8 races you run in any of the 13 races.
7
• Points are also obtained for your 6 best positions relative to other HRR runners in your age category (25 points for the first runner in your age category, 24 points for the second, etc.).
8
• The age categories are SM, VM40, VM50, VM60, SL, VL35, VL45 and VL55. Runners who are U20 will be classified as SM/SL, VM70 as VM60 and VL65 as VL55. The qualification date for all age categories is September 1st 2016.
9
• Second-claim members are not eligible for the HRR XC Championships.

This spreadsheet has two sheets labelled Men and Women. These sheets show the points that HRR runners have scored in the 2016-17 season of the HRR XC Championships. The sheets show the runners first ordered by age categories and then by the number of points they have scored.

At the end of the season, prizes will be awarded in each age category to the first three runners that have finished in at least five races. There is a trophy for first place, a medal for 2nd and a medal for 3rd. Note: even if a runner has obtained more points than someone else in their age category, they will not be eligible for a prize unless they have finished in at least five races. Runners who have done at least five races will be shown in bold.
