PURPOSE: To confirm that the horse demonstrates correct basics, and in addition to the requirements of Training Level, has developed the thrust to achieve improved balance and throughness and to maintain a more consistent contact with the bit. All trot work may be ridden sitting or rising, unless stated.JUDGE: Ida Norris

2ImpulsionDesire to move forward; elasticity of the steps; suppleness of the back; engagement of the hindquarters5210lacks engmanet and impulsion for this level / primarily in working gaits today
43
3SubmissionWilling cooperation; harmony; attention and confidence; acceptance of bit and aids; straightness; lightness of forehand and ease of movements428Not round to the bridle or on the bit , unable today to meet the requirements of this level
44
4Rider’s Position and SeatAlignment; posture; stability; weight placement; following mechanics of the gaits66not balanced left and right , lacking stability to follow gaits and independent arms for 1/2 halts
45
5Rider’s Correct and Effective Use of the AidsClarity; subtlety; independence; accuracy of test44not meeting the requirements of the level; ie on the bit and impulsion for collection/engagement
46
this is a beautiful horse but today was not on the bit. Rider must be confident and able to ride horse very actively forward at this level. collection is not SLOW it is POWER.. that power is translated into collection within a "round" frame. Being off the bit at second level drops the scores dramatically. Readdress being on the bit and very active . good Luck
