If I am receiving a scholarship from another organization that can be combined with the new SPRING, can I apply to the new SPRING?		その奨学金の性質によって、新SPRINGの応募資格「支援を開始する年の 1 月～12 月の収入が 240 万円以上となることが見込まれない者」の収入要件に含むかどうかを判断します。別途個別にご相談ください。/
The nature of the scholarship will determine whether it is included in the income requirement for the new SPRING eligibility "(3)Applicants must NOT receive an income that exceeds 2.4 million JPY for the period from January to December of the year in which the support starts.."　Please contact us individually.

2新SPRINGへ応募するにあたって、年齢要件はあるか。/
Are there any age limitations for the applicants, such as 35 or 40 years old?		年齢要件はありません。/There is no age limit for NEW SPRING application.

3採択後、一時帰国で日本に不在となる月がある場合、その月の研究専念支援金は支給されるか。/
If I am away from Japan for a month after being selected, will I receive the stipends for the month?		一時帰国で日本国内に完全に不在となる月がある場合は、その月の研究専念支援金の支給はされません。ただし、一時帰国とは学業や研究によらない私用での帰国が該当します。/
If there is a month during which the student will be completely absent from Japan due to a temporary return, the student will not receive the stipends for that month.（※A temporary return is defined as a return for personal reasons not related to study or research.）

4日本学術振興会特別研究員への応募を強く勧められていますが、フェローシップ採択後に日本学術振興会特別研究員になることが決まった場合、フェローシップを辞退して日本学術振興会特別研究員になる、ということで合っているか？
Regarding the application guidelines, I understand that a student can apply for both the JSPS (DC2) and HU Fellowship if they have not yet received any scholarship during the current application period. If a student is awarded the HU Fellowship and subsequently receives the JSPS award, my understanding is that the HU Fellowship will be canceled, and the recipient will begin receiving the JSPS funding. 5応募フォームの中に「支援開始月が含まれる年の収入見込額」という項目があると思うのですが，私は今年，1. TAに採用される可能性，2. 所属研究科の研究員に採用される可能性（週1～2回程度勤務），3. 学会など，出張の交通費等，4. 研究室内での謝金を受け取る可能性，5. 学内の教育研究補助職員としての仕事（非常勤），6. 学外の非常勤講師としての仕事，によってお金をいただくことになっています．これらはいずれも募集要項における「給与・役員報酬等の安定的な収入」には該当しない（したがって，現在話題としている項目については「0円」と回答すればよい），という理解でよろしいでしょうか？
Above question in Japanese is about whether unfrequent salary should be included in income. 		1.3.4. については非該当ですが、2.5.6.については該当 or 非該当のどちらになるかは内容をみて判断する必要があります。但し該当してもそれらの年間収入が２４０万円に達しなければ応募に問題はありません。

6応募書類の最後に指導教員氏名を書くところがありますが、研究内容の直属の指導教員か、研究室の教授かどちらがよいでしょうか。
There is a place to indicate the name of your academic supervisor in the late of application document. As for the academic supervisor, which should it be the immidiate supervisor of research or the professor of research laboratory ?		研究科に届け出ている主指導教員を記載してください。
Please list the primary supervisor as reported to the Graduate School.

The stipend from the fellowship seems to be included in stable income, hence would it rather be counted into yearly 2.4 million yen?. 		新SPRINGの研究専念支援金は"含まない"で、1 月～12 月の収入が 240万円以上となることが見込まれない者という意味になります。
It is difined as not including the stipend from the felowship into the calculation of the yearly 2.4 million yen.
